Popped in here for lunch today with friends and my daughter. You don't need to be a member to eat here. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. The menu had a good selection. We sat at the window and enjoyed lovely views of the golf course. I am not sure if many people are aware they do food here as there are no sihns outside advertising it.
Four of us dropped into this café mid-afternoon, hungry and in need of a coffee after driving for a few hours. Firstly, it was expensive and prices were not displayed on the menu board, which appeared to be the only menu available. The staff member was not helpful and bordering on rudeTwo of us had cappuccinos which were high on milk and light on coffee. We ended up leaving most of the coffee. Another person in the group had an Americano which was also very weak. The tea was fine. The food offered from the cabinet was a salad that appeared to have been made up a few hours beforehand. The muffin that we ended up purchasing was stale. The all round quality of the food was marginal.

Visited with my family and we all had breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the menu is varied and canbe negotiated with staff. This was great as we had children who did not want everything.Coffee refills are included in the price. Prices are reasonable. Will come again.

Located In The Heart Of Ardee Town Centre - Boylans Bar, Lounge & Market Street Bistro Offers A Wide Selection Of Cuisines Over Three Menus - Lunch, Light Bite & A La Carte! Our Sports Bar - 'The Hatch Bar' Is Open 7 Days A Week And We Show All Live Sport
Just had to share the experience of a brief stop at this bistro/bar/restaurant. 3 of us were led to a table aftr being greeted warmly. Menus presented covered all day breakfasts, fresh dinners, salads, desserts....coffees/teas. Our order included a prawn and smoked salmon sald and chip. And 2 of their all day breakfasts...but one was gluten free. Food was very fresh and plentiful. Staff checked u to see if extra fluids or food were required and we all really got recharged at the meal. Strangers like us felt at home and when leaving noticed several lone diners...with huge meals to devour. Thoroughly reccommend this wonderful place...and all very very reasonable.Enjoy!

Called in for food with visiting family. We have been here a few times before. I like the fact that there are several areas to sit to eat in, and all very comfortable. We all chose differently, some just a sandwich others two courses. The food came quickly and everybody commented on how much they enjoyed it. Service is always really good too with friendly staff.

Hi I visited here for lunch on Thursday and was very disappointed have been here before and have found that it has lost its appeal. To be honest the quality of the food is poor cheap frozen chips the chicken had a strange texture almost like processes .Too many waitress only one doing anything .But on saying all this it was full and very noisy. It's a pity as it had an appeal and always had something different on the menu no longer the case.

A traditional Irish Pub offering superb food in a warm and cosy environment characterised by our stone walls and open fire. Live Music Fri & Sat 9.30pm
We found this place by accident and having seen the big sign at the roadside, we decided to give it a try.Upon entering the place I was impressed by the lovely interior deco and we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She was very helpful in taking our orders and serving us throughout, making sure we were fine.We ordered the soup which was served with the best brown bread I've tasted (and this is not because we were hungry!) and the cottage pie came in a good serving size. I absolutely love that they serve steamed vegetables instead of fries which was healthier option. My bf was driving so he couldn't really drink, so it was nice that they have alcohol free beer too.I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone!
