The elementary menu is out of sync with the hotel after the latter's renovation to a more luxurious standard. Service is inattentive, slow and incompetent. A request for salt produced a completely blocked salt cellar. The 'slibtongen' were well prepared but accompanied on the edges of the same plate by a miserable attempt at a fresh salad. Fletcher (the hotel chain) does not appear to exercise any quality control.

Auberge de Kieviet is located in a charming wooden building in a very green area. We went there for lunch a Sunday afternoon, being almost the only guests. The lunch menu is rather simple, with breads, soups and salads. (The evening menu is likely to offer more choices). I ordered a fish soap as a starter. With some still dissolved clumps of the powder it was made of and not a trace of any fish at all, this was definitively not worth its price. For this kind of establishment I had expected something far better. The salads were all right but for the price they asked the bread should have been included.

Had the most lovely lunch today a salad consisting of mackerel, salmon, avocado and crayfish. My husband had a delicious tuna sandwich. I'd rate it 5 star but it took a while for the waitress to come over and she served a couple of Dutch people before us despite us sitting down beforehand. She also didn't bother to pour our wine, I thought it was etiquette! Great location and we hired cushioned sun beds with a wind break just perfect.

What a wonderful day we had when we visited museum Voorlinden and had morning coffee and lunch at this lovely restaurant. Such great ambiance and a feel of elegant times past..... As the weather was glorious, we ate on the terrace and enjoyed good food with great service. Can highly recommend you pay a visit!

Staying at Duinrell its a 2 min drive away .Relaxed outside seating area.Online booking.English menus .Food was good great presentation 120 euros for 2 adults 3 kids main meal drinks and dessert all good would recommend.

Several dishes are specifically indicated as vegan on the menu (not just salads, either!) Others are marked as vegetarian or gluten-free. Almond milk is available for coffee drinks (at a 0â¬30 charge). Service was prompt and professional. The cups our coffees came in are particularly pretty, and appeared to be for sale at a small shop attached.

At the top of the dunes enjoying the marvelous sea view you can have lunch or dinner inside or out. People arrive from walking on the beach or just for food and/or drinks. Food is simple but good and the atmosphere is pleasurable. The restaurant is open all year, so in wintertime it is good to get warm inside. A restaurant to go to anytime!

Out with my wife for date night. Everything was excellent in this restaurant. Ambience is very nice. Menu is not huge, but everything we had was first class.Waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive (but not obtrusive service).And reasonably priced.Very much enjoyed the experience, will go back.

Our second year staying in Wassenaar and only discovered this place this year! Very bust with locals, which is good to see. Great Ribs, huge portion for â¬17.95 with chips and salad. Good children's menu (which alot of the restaurants in Wassenaar don't have) and wife had a steak which was gorgeous. A good starter, four good meals and a couple of desserts, with 2 rounds of drinks for â¬90 odd quid. Tasty and good value. Staff very friendly also. Try it out!

Absolutely perfect for families. Overall for what you get itâs not expensive compared to some places. All the staff members are very helpful throughout our stay. There is plenty to do on site and near by. Your only 20 mins away from The Hague and 40 mins drive from Amsterdam. Even the beach is less than 20 mins away. You get unlimited access to all the rides m, so you can pick and choose when you want to go. With the outdoor and inside swimming and flumes and mini activities to do on site the children will never get board and you have something different to do each day.
