My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to dinner here one night on our recent holiday in Costa Adeje and it was certainly a night to remember! From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the polite and helpful staff who could not have done more to make us feel welcome and make sure we enjoyed our evening. The food was amazing and we were lucky enough to have booked on a Canarian holiday night so the 5 course tasting menu was full of local dishes and paired with local wines. The chef came out to meet us at the end of the evening which was a really nice touch and we couldn't believe when we left that we had been there nearly 4 hours as the time flew by. Absolute highlight of our holiday and we would recommend to anyone looking for a special occasion dinner venue!Dear Customer,Thank you for sharing your very kind remarks following your experience in our à la carte restaurant Donaire. It´s lovely to hear that you joined us by chance on Canary Islands Day and were able to sample our special menu of local specialities and wines. We also appreciate your compliments about our chef and the special attention offered by his team.It is very rewarding for us to hear that your evening spent with us was the highlight of your holiday and we hope you will come back to see us on your next visit to Tenerife. With best wishes,Manager, GF Victoria

Fresh home made food, well priced drinks, comfortable atmosphere & friendly service... everyone is welcome at The Thirsty Turtle
A lovely little place. Staff were really friendly and service was excellent. When we visited the place had been decorated for Halloween, our son loved it. It was nice that although they were showing a football match on the screen, the volume was off so you could listen to the music being played. We didn't eat here but the menu looked really good too. Maybe next time.

Seven of us occupied all four cottages in March this year to get away from the cold UK winter. Having carried out research on Alistair Sawday (which has never let us down in thirty years !) we were not disappointed. The owners, Sheila and Ray took care of all our needs in this unpretentious but charming and spotless home from home converted bodega. Sheila provides exceptional evening meals to your cottages on request and the provision of good value, quality, local wines, beer, milk and water, saves laborious trips to the supermarket. Thoroughly recommended.

Nuestra apuesta es ofrecer una comida sencilla con tintes canarios e internacionales, en un ambiente de música y arte. Lugar con encanto y con historia donde pasar un rato agradable y disfrutar de los sentidos. Ven y disfruta.
The food is great. We eat here 3 times and the croquettes and chesnuts are very good and special but the salad and dessert are great as well. The 2 brother's took over the restaurant brrom April '18 so forget all previous comment. 'just go'
The restaurant belongs to the hotel. The food is typically Canarian - excellent fresh grilled fish, the ubiquitous papas arrugadas and slices of gaudy cake, everything served in gigantic portions. The use of garlic, particularly in the mojo sauces, can be overpowering. Fortunately there is a surprisingly fresh and mellow white wine to wash down any unwanted garlicky aftertaste, the grapes to produce it are grown by the restaurant's owner and pressed by a neighbour. I wish I could buy it elsewhere...
It is a restaurant where we respect traditional recipes of traditional Canarian cuisine. With us you can enjoy our tasting menu of traditional Canarian cuisine in which every day we serve three dishes and dessert
The restaurant of El Tejar hotel offers fixed-price single-menu four-course dinners at a very reasonable price. The food is varied from day to day and has a âhomeyâ, light feel to it. Definitely recommended, and very convenient if you stay at the hotel. Excellent house wine from a regional vineyard.Thank you

Closed For Holidays From Saturday 28TH Of April To Monday 4TH Of June. Open Again Tuesday 5TH Of June.
From the outside, it looks quite dull, but when you come inside, you will expire the warmest atmosphere and an exceptional waiter who very gently and qualified guided us through our selection of food and wine. We followed his suggestions and had some really very good food, excellent prepared and seasoned.Whole wine bottles came on the table and we freely could take what we want - and when we paid, the waiter just looked at the bottles and estimated how much we have taken - and we paid just that.So we can fully recommend this restaurant - mainly for the food, but absolutely also for the atmosphere and the waiter!
