We had an absolutely brilliant meal on this charming restaurant. Host Matt was very friendly and looked after us wonderfully. His wife Carol is a fantastic chef. Everything we had off the menu was superb. Couldnât fault the whole evening, apart from the weather! Situated about 4km past Bédar up in the mountains, itâs a winding drive, but well worth the effort! Highly recommended!

Comida fusión Internacional, altamente recomendable para Vegetarianos.Situado en un sitio ideal para disfrutar de vistas del pueblo y una comida/cena de lo más variopinta. Ideal si quieres acertar con tu pareja o familia.
A little pleasant corner in the Pueblo serving small plates of modern food . Mostly highly competent and innovative. By fat the best in town .

Top chef Jeremy Stent brings his unique talent to Vera Playa in an exquisite new restaurant. His team is friendly, professional and welcoming to all, and Jeremy's menu combines local food from local sources with his passion for clean, fresh, organic food.
La Brasserie is a fairly new restaurant overlooking the beach at Laguna. The menu is not extensive but suitable for all tastes and the food is excellent. The staff are friendly. helpful and efficient. The menu is a couple of euros more expensive than the average but if you like good food which is expertly prepared and so tasty then well worth it. Highly recommended.

Family run bar/eatery. Good selection of breakfasts, lunches and evening meals plus a daily specials board. Beers, soft drinks, wines and spirits. Great views over the sea from the terrace. Quiz every Wednesday at 19.30. Sunday roast starts at 1 clock. Fi
Not new to Scottyâs, we came down for a couple of drinks whilst dinner cooked at home. Ready to leave, the smell of the garlic sizzling prawns was enough for us to go home, take dinner out and come back! They didnât disappoint! Not did the Thai vegetable curry and Hunters chicken. Watch the moon rise over the ocean, great food, drink and hospitality.

Staying just down the road, recommend by the villa owner, he was right, this was brilliant, great food, we had the steak, the pork roll and the fish soup, could not have been better. Staff are great and very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended. We will be back very shortly, like tomorrow maybe.

Sadly, extremely disappointing, Having seen an advert for a 7 course tasting menu we booked a table for two, for Saturday night, on arrival at 8pm, as requested, we were rather surprised to find only one other couple in the premises, they like us, appeared rather bemused and puzzled at the lack of patrons. After being seated at the only other laid table, it became obvious that we four were the full compliment for the gourmet evening. We asked for the wine menu, to choose a bottle of wine to compliment our anticipated 7 course meal., there was no wine menu, so we choose a bottle from the five displayed on the bar. The waiter did provide a taste of two wines to help with the choice. With just 4 customers, background music consisting of Beatles' songs and general pop and my view of a table behind us that was festooned with a paper punch, a motorbike helmet and assorted scattered files and papers, the hope of my wife and I enjoying a relaxing gourmet experience was diminishing rapidly .The arrival of an inebriated customer, from the terrace and his decision to engage us in conversation by shouting at us across the room certainly didn't help the ambiance. However we decided to continue in the hope of the meal being good. The first course was charcuterie, which was OK but nothing to write home about. All the meats were bought in, and for my personal taste the addition of cheeses to a charcuterie starter is a little odd, however I accept that tastes differ. As nothing on the first course had been cooked by the chefs, we decided to continue with the meal in the hope things would improve. The second course was Garlic Seared Scallop , two minuscule scallops were presented, and from both the size and taste I would perceive that they were frozen, although I was assured by the chef that they were fresh.? Being so small they were overcooked and both dishes were served containing grit, which is a ridiculous school boy error from a professional kitchen. From this dish we assessed that the quality of the rest of the meal was not going to be to the standard we had hoped for on booking so we decided to call it a night, paid for what we had eaten and left to to eat in another restaurant .Reading the reviews on tripadvisor it would appear that many people find this venue good as a tapas bar and I have no reason to doubt them. However there is a vast difference in what clients expect to receive for tapas costing a couple of euros and what is implied and expected from a 7 course tasting menu cost a few cents short of 80 euros a couple, plus extras. A disappointing experience and a shame as I'm sure there is a market for tasting menus, produced and served correctly.

Reataurant full of charm. Good seasonal food.
This hidden gem, set in the heart of the small Hotel Tikar, is certain to please. Arrive early for a drink in the small and charming poolside garden â and then find everything equally perfect from then on.The restaurant is quiet, beautiful and attended by the owner and staff with great efficiency. The menu is comprehensive enough to satisfy everyone, yet short enough to know that what arrives on your plate has been cooked fresh and with care. We found the salmon, chicken stuffed with Roquefort cheese and pork wellington beyond comparison. And the set menu price â though more than you would pay for ordinary fare in an ordinary setting â good value. Our companions were âbigâ in the world of household-name TV cookery programmes. Their verdict? âWeâll be backâ. Enough said.

El Torrente is without challenge Cuevas del Almanzora's premiere restaurant and it is situated right at the Golf Club House. With a stunning setting, it looks out over Powder Creek and its Cascade, across the large expanse of water that will form Steamboa
We stopped here for lunch today and ordered various dishes and the desert spring salad which was superb the steak baguettes were tasty and the kids enjoyed the burgers and hot dogs .Lovely setting and will return for dinner

Great food and friendly service. Within walking distance of the village with reasonable prices. We do our own British tapas on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 11am and 4pm and for 1euro a dish great value its first come first serve . We take reservations
Food quality & service & great value for money. Fillet steak not to be missed & always on the menu. Good selection & variety but tapas not to be missed on market day Wednesday. Steak night on a Thursday is even better value for money. With Lesley in the kitchen & Brian front of house its the only restaurant to visit.
