Visited with family and found the food very good as is the choice of wine. Service excellent , we were asked if we would care to wait between courses rather than being rushed. For a special meal try the 3 course 35 euro meal ... any three courses from the menu with small intermediate nibbles. Will need some knowledge of Dutch to understand menu or take Dutch speakers !

Me and my husband visited "Het Roode Hert" at Velsen-Zuid for dinner on a saturday evening. We noticed that there was no à la carte menu, but you can choose from a 3-, 4- or 5-course chefs' menu. Good wine list. We decided to take the mixed fish and meat 4-course chefs' menu, including complementary wines. The chef made us a really amazing french cuisine dinner. As a 1st course we had home-made smoked salmon with scallops and caviar. 2nd: crispy skin-baked bream. 3th: sliced venison steak with redwine gravy, potato mash and red cabbage cinnamon stew. 4th: dessert of "boerenjongens"-ice cream along with lovely chocolate pudding. The complementary wines were all perfect. We had a very nice evening with lovely dining and wining. The only minor thing was the chilliness from the cold of the window next to me, but that wouldn't keep us from visiting this good restaurant again next time.

So enjoyed everything about the experience...from sitting next to the electric fireplace in comfy chairs to enjoying the company of the restauranteur herself whom I noticed made it a point to greet & chat with everyone. Was lucky the night was not busy as she spent a good amount of time with a glass of wine at our table, speaking English as well, a most interesting person indeed! I would return just to chat with her. The menu was not overwhelming but offered spectacular choices. I understand the menu changes, a real chef's dream, to create with the seasons or availability. Every course was delicious and it was true dining with no rush. There is a large patio which I imagine gets a lot of use in the warmer months. This was the only restaurant I went to in Beverwijk; it was the right choice and I would return again!

We serve a tasting menu with a choice of 4 (tue, wed, thu),5,6 or 7 courses and additional cheeses. We try to source as much local ingredients as we can but like to implement International flavors to our dishes too. Our menu can change on a weekly base, d
We had a wonderful night: the food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairing was good too. However, we were dissapointed that while we had a set menu with a set price incl a wine pairing arrangement, the night ended with an extremely high bill: pricewise similar to a ** Michelin star dinner. While we had some surplus items that were mentioned as such (the truffel on the meat dish and an appetizer), we did not get a heads up on the surplus on the dessert wine (we were under the assumption this would be included in the wine pairing menu we were on) and other 'unmentioned' surplus items. Should we have paid more attention? Maybe. But it does leave us with an unsettled feeling and eventhough we did enjoy the night, the food, service and ambiance: the unfortunate conslusion is we won't be back.

We were there on 2 consecutive nights & on both occasions it took 90 mins for our main courses to arrive. Took the enjoyment out of what would otherwise have been good experiences.

This restaurant has a nicely laid out interior, well decorated and has a very large terrace area outside on the footpath. Although the view from the terrace may not be very special, the layout and seating is comfortable and creates a good atmosphere (especially when the weather is good). The concept of the menu here is similar to eating tapas. The menu has a good choice of hot and cold dishes on it, which includes some unusual but very tasty specials as well. The âshared diningâ idea is that you choose 2 or 3 dishes per person and share them, however you can also eat them yourself in the traditional manner of a âstarterâ and a âmain courseâ (as we did). We personally found that 2 dishes per person plus a dessert were sufficient. The waitresses were all very friendly and the food was well presented. Although the dishes are not particularly cheap, the quality and taste was very good.I would certainly recommend this restaurant, especially as itâs (tapas) concept makes it a little different from the rest. We will no doubt return again.

This is definitely the place to be if you like fine dining, fish and a homey atmosphere. We had the 7 course menu combined with a nice bottle of Patrick Piuze Chablis. You sensed that each course was made with a lot of love and passion. We will come back for sure!

Restaurant Parck is located within walking distance of Haarlem city center, opposite the Carlton Square hotel. The restaurant has several rooms, making it ideal for dining with larger groups, but you can also have a nice cup of coffee, a delicious lunch,
This is a modest restaurant, not pretentious, but doing what they do quite well. It has also the virtue of being open every day during the year, which can be very useful, especially on holidays, where most other restaurants are closed. They offer a three-course meal with many choices for every course, he wine list is modest but quite varied. The restaurant was very noisy this evening on account of it being X'mas eve but very convivial nevertheless.Dear Bala,Thank you for your visit! We hope to welcome you again. Kind regards,Team Parck
