Amber is Udaipur True Authentic Mexican and International Grill and Kitchen. We serve delicious Mexican food and fresh barbecue from our live kitchen. All to an amazing natural view over the lake and hills.
Great location, although outdoors so you will need a jacket or fleece in the cooler evenings. The resturant did provide braziers at each table to keep the chill away. The Mexican food was good and flavourful though our favourite dish was the French fries, which were crisp and hot. The only down side was when we ordered dessert and coffee, the coffee arrived, then 10 mins later the first dessert the second dessert didn't arrive for a further 10 mins by which time we had finished the coffee. (It was a chilly night and the French press didn't have a cover). I would adviser travellers to specify if they want the desserts together and with after dinner coffee or before it.

Charcoal by Carlsson is the only barbecue in Udaipur and as our name suggest we specialize on food cooked over coal. We have a great selection of veg and non-veg, from deliciously mild to excitingly spicy from both or barbecue and our traditional tandoor.
We were a bit confused that their menu says "you'll find us as Charcoal by Hotel Pratap on Tripadvisor".The lamb souflakis were overdone but they did get the tzatziki right. The rice kheer had coconut in it and the rice was crunchy (not cooked). We both got pretty sick after dinner. The staff did their best on a very rainy night.
A lake side lounge bar with the a beautiful and quaint setting offering the best cocktails in town along with finger snacks from Japanese, Chinese, Indian and European cuisines with ambient retro music in the background
The best part about this place is the romantic setting , right on the banks of Fathe Sagar lake , in the midst of well maintained lawns and the worst part , the destination weddings happening at the hotel , when the entire area is taken over and dare I say abused by the wedding partyThe courthouse service by the staff and the perfect air-conditioning makes it a perfect venue to spend some time with friends . The food and snacks , though nothing Earth shaking are quite decent , a three out of five .ENJOY

We just finished a trip through Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, and this was our favorite meal in India! First off, the location of the restaurant is stunning. We went later, around 7pm, and the ambiance was romantic and intimate, with wonderful views. We were lucky to get a table right next to the lake. Tribute's staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly, and the food tasted wonderful. I wish I could come back to India just to return to this great place!

Never had that kind of taste or the flavours. Truly unique, it's a 27 year old restaurant that has been renovated time by time, I went to place and what I found was a really impressive ambience. Few things was bit disappointing, like they didn't served the water and not even they served onion salad which is such a common thing. I tried cheese masala Paratha, tandoori Paneer and tawa Chapati. Service was decent, and the food was so different in taste and in the flavours. It wasn't a regular cashew, tomato based gravy it was something different which was quite delicious. Prices are decent, they also serve hard beverages. In total it's a great place with one of the most Chilling ambience.
