Find out what International restaurants to try in San Cristobal de las Casas. A stronghold of Mayan culture, San Cristóbal’s colonial stucco walls and Spanish tile roofs contrast with the surrounding villages, which remain home to an array of Mayan-descendant Indians. The city itself is a delight. Paired with the cultural diversity surrounding it, there’s nothing like it in Mexico.

This combined cafe / restaurant will be a excellent choice if you are looking for European inspired menu card - and the food here is fantastic . We have eaten here two days and both of them have more than fulfilling expectations. On top of the food , the staff here are VERY FRIENDLY and honest. The first day approx 2000 pesos had fallen out of my pocket. It was noticed by one of the waiters who âsaved my dayâ

This small and cheerful resto is part of an organization that promotes local artisans. Our meal was superb, taking us beyond what we typically think of as Mexican food. The advice of our young server was invaluable, and available to us in English and Spanish. Go now before it becomes too well known. You will not be disappointed.

Staying nearby, my wife and I ventured here for Sunday night dinner. The word âaverageâ was invented for this place. On the plus side, the service was good and friendly. And my wifeâs carrot curry soup was great. On the lesser side, my tomato soup was way too rich. And the paninis each of us ordered were nothing at all special. The place has a funky vibe to it - I perceive that is what it is known for. There are better options out there; then again, there are also worse ones. Thanks for your comment. We're looking forward to welcoming you again soon and make a better impression. Every opinion is helpful and we'll make sure you have the best experience the next time you visit us.

This place is truly great! The good is local, simple, and very well prepared. The menu is small but very good and only local fresh ingredients used. Prices are exceedingly reasonable and the staff is happy, friendly, and relaxed. Coffees are terrific. I had lunch there and went back for dinner to further explore their menu and I was not disappointed.
