2 pm sit down. Start with rum punch and gnome cocktail served in shaped copper tumblers. Had Chinese duck rolls, beef sliders and chips - all yummy. Eclectic decoration, including the stuffed peacock, view of the Harbour and tables outside for a sunny day. Defiantly worth a visit.

Happened upon this restaurant by chance staying nearby in the pleasant old town of Dordrecht. The restaurant is small and comfortable with excellent service and GREAT food. Definitely fine dining and definitely a place for foodies. Well worth a visit if you're in the locale...try!

Great wines & food, excellent service. We were a large party of 25, and serving so many the same menu simultanously is always challenging for a gourmet kitchen, but the Fitzgerald team pulled that off with onøy a few small glitches; a piece of meat not as tender as you could expect, and some vegetables that should have been replaced. However, that is excuceable with such a large group, and I would love to come back with a small party to really enjoy other options on the menu. Dear Tom, thank you for your kind review. Visited on a Saturday evening for a family meal. Lovely seasonal menu with several off menu specials available. No children menu but we are asked what our 8 year old liked and they simply made him his favourite food. The service is something special and different. I think it might have been the mother of the chef / owner and what a lovely lady. It's like you are having dinner at a close friend's home. Quality of the food very good and combined with the service and atmosphere an Excellent rating more than justified.

When we arrived at this medium sized bistro (about 50 seats) we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table.The waiter (Peter) went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We wanted to order wine by the glass and had plenty to choose from against acceptable prices for a decent size glass. Water from the tap for free (that's how it should be!). All our dishes were well prepared and tasted delicious and were nicely decorated and laid out. For 50 euro per person for a three-course meal, accompanied with five glasses of good wine (the desert wines are worthwhile mentioning) we left feeling very happy and will certainly be back soon!

De keuken en de zaak is warm gedraaid: het was gewoon goed! Heerlijk gegeten. Een top zaak. Mooi interieur. Een gezellig terras ernaast waar je vooraf of je lunch/diner zelf ook kunt nemen. Bij iedere gang een âplankâ genomen. De zogenaamde Sharing bites. En dan zelf samengesteld van de kaart. M.a.w. alle combiâs kunnen en personeel denkt mee. Goede afwisseling, vers, goed bereid. Leuk om met vrienden of gezin in het midden van de tafel te delen. De Bediening was goed. Wijn erbij prima. Aanrader!

Had a very nice dinner with friend from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. Our reservations didn't work. We ended up having to wait 15 min. to be seated. The service was good once we did get seated. The food was middle of the road. I had beef steak. The poor old milk cow that gave her life ended up on my plate, Good taste but very tuff and chewy. My wife have vegetarian plate that her just love. Our friend had rabbit that look good too.
