Things to do in Paro
The food served was exceptional as there is limited Indian food in Bhutan. The food had that authentic taste. especially Daal Makahani. Service was Quick and the ambiance of course is pretty decent.
This was one of the stays on our tour through Bhutan. All the accommodation offered by the tour company was on the high side of average and this was no exception. Room, food and staff all met our needs
Serving the best meal of your choice.. We serve Bhutanese cuisine, continental and Indian. Just walk in while you visit in Bhutan to feel the taste.
We been Nice Restaurant twin In Thimpu and once in Paro . Both places was excellent! Such a well manage place with great food . Our team rated Nice Restaurant Thimpu is number 1. Professional and friendly staff , supper clean and nice atmosphere. We will definitely visit this resturent while we go Bhutan again . Donât miss this place !
Selected by our guide we sat down for lunch at Lhayabling Restaurant and left mostly satisfied. Mostly. Here's why.The lunch buffet featured about 6 offerings: rice, steamed brocolli, green beans with a chili flare, an orange-chicken-like dish and a steamed squash-like dish. In addition, we were served a bowl of the Bhutanese staple: chili-cheese. 15 days in Bhutan, the chicken disease was the best meat dish we've had in the country. The meat was boneless (or nearly so) with a nicely fried orange glaze and crust The green beens had a nice chili-kick. The other dishes were generic, as if they had come from a Mandarin Chinese buffet. The chili-cheese was the weakest example of that dish I tried this trip (having it at least once per day); it tasted like Velveeta with heat.Overall, the food was decent, but not something I'd go out of my way for and not something I would would recommend as there are so many other options in Paro (such as Yue-Ling.)
This is simple bhuthanese restaurant in Paro town, serving decent food. The good point is owner willingness to arrange picnic anywhere around Paro district. He will bring seats, the warm food in termo covers and even beer and soft drinks. You can eat anywhere in nature with service of waiters and for same cost as if you eat in restaurant.
The focal point of Latest Recipe is the open kitchen, where chefs busily prepare tantalising international dishes. The day begins with Le Meridien Signature Breakfastâa selection of cafe classics with a local twist. From a three-egg omelet with local spin
In our three day stay we tasted several different cuisines and food and must say they were all so tasty we fell in love with the place so had our both breakfast and dinner here .A highlight is the personal interaction of waiters and the chef making sure you are felt important and your taste buds are catered to .

Clearly popular for foreigners ... after a morning work-out at Tiger's Nest, it was great to have a delicious meal at Dagmar. Buffett style Bhutanese food; the noodles, in particular, was a nice addition. Also eggplant dish very nice.

We had three different datsis, ema, hentse and shuma. All three were wonderful. We also had veg momos and cheese momos. We could tell they were freshly made, so tasty The red rice was delicious also. The manager and staff are so nice. We definitely would return.

unless you sit by the two fireplaces. the place was amazing and surrounded by trees. food was very good and the pastries were excellent over christmas. but when we returned after christmas quality went down a little (and pastries went down considerably?), not sure why. service was all good. must try its range of beers. if they could warm up the place a little in the winter, it would be perfect.
