A fine hotel restaurant, serving the very best of international and local cusine in a buffet setting.
Breakfasts were top quality European standard buffet style.Dinners were either 2 choice set menu, or buffet. Set was 2 of the buffet choices so really only limited to choice and quantity not quality. I had plenty - and I'm a big eater.

We were taken here by our host who recommended this restaurant. The restaurant has wonderful decor and the night we were there had live music. We sat outside to enjoy the weather.. There was a very good choice including some dishes for vegetarians.. but the food was typically Portuguese leveraging the local fresh food.Like all places in Luanda .. ignore the prices.. just enjoy the food and the locale. Thanks to the people who waited on us, very polite and friendly .. especially the hostess.

Don't expect anything special from this place. I went with a friend for dinner and we had dinner on the terrace which is very dark. Only Portuguese speaking people so be ready. I had codfish, which is one of the speciality of Angola (ex Portuguese colony), which was nothing special, it was thin and full of bones. My friend had picañha, and also the meat wasn't great. Maybe we were unlucky but the place is not worth for money. Paid 15,000 kwanza (almost 100 dollars at official change) and left disappointed.

Very popular and well established restaurant that managed to import a piece of Portugal to Angola and merged well with the African traditions. The menu is very comprehensive, the portions are large and the draft beer is always ice-cold. The personnel is very friendly and attentive, the service is fast and efficient. The quality of food is excellent.

Fusion food restaurant by the sea at Ilha do Cabo and vibrant club at weekend nights
Leaving in Luanda, you will end up one day or another in Chill out, next to the same owner's ex-magnificaent Coconuts, on Ilha. There you'll get the fashion, people all dressed up, good service, and acceptable world sophisticated plates, hopefully well served. Nice atmosphere, excellent caipirinhas, overall a very pleasant place to eat out with friends but do not to be astonished by the food. Bill is ok, for such a high end luandan restaurant.
