Fantastic Italian Restaurant ocean front in Playa Bonita, in Resort Costa Las Ballenas. Open to all, possibility of free parking inside the hotel, Italian kitchen with imported Italian products, Italian-style kitchen local products, home-made pasta and ex
A very nice restaurant (and hotel) on the beach of Punta Bonita. Nice set-up and nice service. But I can't understand how a restaurant managed by an Italian can serve such mediocre Italian food. The Carbonara was made with gooey pasta (on two occasions) and was dry. The calamari had more batter than calamari ( but tasted good) and the fish was the usual and ok. The red wine was iced (don't they realize that some people like wine at normal temps?). The manager and his wife prefer their smart phone over greeting the guests! The prices are ok and as I said the surroundings are beautiful.pasta is homemade, the red wine is to serve normal temps but in Caribe with 40° C is impossibleto drink, for this reason we have chill red wine, but if you prepare normal temps red winw, you can ask to our waiter..:????

BLUE FISH Restaurant & SushiBar is located on the third floor of Gaia Disco, known for their fresh fish and late night food.We offer quality imported meats
Gaia looks very nice, I been there a couple of time and sushi is ok as well. Las night I went with my friends and family we waited at least 20 mins and nobody ask us what we need it until I stoped a waitress who barely spoke Spanish after we sat he told us there were no sushi. We decided to go, but the owner told us that there were sushi- we wanted to pay a bottle of local sparkling water that costed no more than 100 pesos in a restaurant or bar (colmados 25 pesos), to see that we are being ask for 175 pesos... don't come here, it is just an abuse of ridiculous bad service and overrated prices.

Welcome to O Grill! We specialize in Fresh BBQ (importation and national meals), Seafood, Steaks, Salads, Homemade Sauces, and Desserts all in a " Casual " atmosphere. With many years of restaurant experience, we understand the importance of being more th
From all aspects, O Grill has evidently worked hard to improve since it was relaunched from Chez Sandro. We spent a really enjoyable Saturday evening here. The new layout has an expanded area for outdoor high table seating, new parasols, a large wood fired grill and a revised menu that features both local and imported grilled meats. There was good background music from a live entertainer and the staff seemed to be hustling to serve all the tables. Compared to Chez Sandro, the food was much better - my beef filet needed a little longer on the grill and this was handled without any fuss. My wife enjoyed the grilled vegetables with a fish filet. Should now be considered as one of the best in LT.

Server didn't speak English. Food at dinner and lunch (same menu) was not great. Would not recommend. Very disappointing as it's a beautiful setting and has so much potential.

This little treasure of a restaurant hidden on Coson beach where many have enjoyed the great food and great atmosphere. A wonderful place to spend the day, eat great food, enjoy refreshing cocktails and watch the sunset on the beach.
Perfect sunshine, palm trees swaying in the wind, white clapboard beach pavillion with a generous sized porch and sound of the surf accross the front yard, what else does one need for the perfect lunch? Good food naturally! This place delivers that too: Best Crab cakes of the area; excellent Lobster Tacos; very good fish and, this, probably the most pedestrian dish, very good pork ribs. The desserts are creative and good and the cafe is excellent. The only disappointment was the watery, not very flavorful Daiquiry. The service is efficient, the maitre d' not very attentive. This place is a little hard to find but worth a visit. Open for lunch only!

Empanadas y mas is a family restaurant. Come and try the best empanadas you ever had! It's only mad on demand by a chilean chief, like other meal like ceviche, fish, and other quality fresh food at raisonnable price.
Had a great lunch here. Food was inexpensive and great quality. A true family run place, Pepe the owner was warm and friendly. If I was a local Iâd come here regularly.

We tried this lovely place on the beach. Seating was inside as well as under the their sails. The servers were very friendly and spoke English in addition to French and Spanish. The pizza choices were numerous and were quite good served on a thin crust. The salads based on their description seemed good but in case of the blue cheese one we selected not great and just seemed slapped together.

Ristorante accogliente con terrazza al coperto, giardino con ombrelloni per cene romantiche e spiaggia con tavoli a 5 metri dall'acqua
We decided to try this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel. SO GLAD WE DID. The food is as absolutely top rate. Sarted with fried cheese with strawberry marmalade and honey to dip it in. Delicious. Then a small plate of fried shrimp. These shrimp come directly from the Caribbean beaches right in front of the restaurant. A flavor that is without description, you just need to try for yourself. I enjoyed a wonderful Angus Steak and my wife had the crab filled ravioli. Both OUT OF THIS WORLD. the staff, bartender and the owner are friendly and attentive. Oh and the view of the beach just yards/meters from the table. Romantic and cozy if your on a date. Wonderful for large groups as well. 5 stars and a top recommendation. Thank you very much

Restaurant serving an interesting menu with very upscale products! The chef has 25 years of experience in the New York market and he is a culinary arts graduate - 1992 from the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mayslanding, New Jersey, US
A true gem in the middle of mediocre competitionWe had dinner at El Dieciocho twice last week while staying at the Sublime Samana resort. While we mostly ate off campus during our stay, many restaurants ended up in the 'they tried but somewhat failed' category. Not El Dieciocho though. Phil and his team 100% know what they are doing - creating a laid back atmosphere for their guests (with and without kids), an amazing service attitude, spectacular food and this special touch the overall experience only true connoisseurs will be able to provide. Phil doesn't see this restaurant as a primary source of income but one where he can share his dedication to a great culinary experience with his guests. We went there with our three kids, all with very different tastes and we all loved it so much that I begged Phil to come back to the Tristate area where he learned his trade. His wine list is small but does the trick, his cocktails are amazing, hands down. Now for the food - we ordered pretty much all starters he offers and loved them all. Just perfect, ideal to share at the table, tapas style. His chefs also didn't let us down with the mains. Did I ever think I would have Osso Buco in the Caribbean? Well, thank god I did as it was one of the best I ever had. My son's Filet Mignon - spot on! Pasta, fish, meat...whatever we ordered was top shelf. Desserts anyone? Oh yes, of course.....homemade Banana ice cream so perfect in terms of natural taste and its consistency that I ordered an extra scoop of it....Anyway - you get my drift.....amazing restaurant, run by very nice human beings who care more about you than their profits, treat their staff very well and also know how to price their menu. I am so grateful we found these guys, turned out to be the icing on the cake, literally! Otherwise I would have thought that Las Terrenas is not a place for foodies......Phil - I stand corrected!Dear Q6764GMfranks,It was with great pleasure to have taken care of your table twice during your visit to El Dieciocho and to know that you "all enjoyed" your dinning experience with us.It is great to see how well your children knows "food and flavor profiles"; I enjoyed all the questions they had for me!Thank you for recognizing the desire that I have to share my culinary experiences with my guests and for asking me to come back to the Tristate area. I look forward to your future visit to our restaurant and thank you very much for an excellent review of your dinning experiences at El Dieciocho!Sincerely yours,Philip
