This is a very good shack on Calicut Beach with ample parking place to begin with. The floor is reserved for upcoming and regular music bands and while snacking with friends one can enjoy the lively music produced by local performing artists. The hosts are extremely warm and friendly. The place is fast becoming a "must visit" when in Calicut, due to the consistent warmth, good snacks and healthy environment it exudes.

They have a good selection of Kerala dishes, especially non-veg. I ordered aappam and chicken ghee roast. It was tasty and the service was reasonably quick. Did not have a difficulty in getting a table. However, the restaurant does not serve any liquor - not even beer.

I happened to visit this restaurant with my family when I was on my way to calicut. We ordered chicken mandi and alfaham with some khuboos n gravies......I must tell u that alfaham was very delicious and the texture of the chicken was perfect.... the chicken was perfectly cooked and very juicy and peppery....I just loved every bit of it. Chicken mandi was bland and boring..... if u r looking for real gud alfaham, this s the best place....I, however, don't prefer this place for real gud dinner and feel there are better restaurants but for alfaham, " shine" rocks.

Cafe and Restaurant serving international cuisine. Accessible from the beach road. Quite street. Heritage ambience. Sandwiches, burgers, Pasta, Grilled food, etc.
Being a person who has travelled around the globe, I was fortunate to try some of the best dishes...House of sparrows has done their justice towards some of the favorite dishes around the world.Tried their Beef lasagne, double patty melt and roasted chicken pasta... my favorite was all three I would say Unique interiors, good service and relaxing ambience... must try.

A quaint restaurant that offers you everything Calicut can give. The flat breads and rice items are up to the mark but often the vegetarian curries take a back seat. The place has an excellent parking space and is recommended for a quiet evening with family.

Had been to Keraleeyam at The Raviz, Calicut for lunch. They had both buffet and A la carte options. My husband & I opted for the Buffet while our children opted for A la carte. Buffet was sumptuous with a good variety of salads, chutneys, pickles, soups for starters and other condiments. Main course had a decent spread with 3 different varieties of rice (biryani, plain white rice and matta (traditional kerala rice), mutton and fish done in authentic kerala style and vegetarian dishes. The Okra salt & pepper and paneer were worth mentioning. Paratha, roti or other breads could be ordered, if required. There was a live cooking station serving steaming hot appams and vegetable stew. Dessert section had a splendid variety: fresh fruits, Banana Bahamas cake, Chocolate Mousse, Barfi, Crema Catalana â tried almost everything they had! Pineapple payasam and Badam Pakeezah were irresistibly yummy and not to be missed. Children had tried penne pasta and spaghetti which they enjoyed (not part of the Buffet).Dear Guest,Thank you for taking time out to inform us about your experience. We are most delighted to learn that you have had a wonderful experience at Keraleeyam and found the staff, services & Quality of the food to be outstanding. Your feedback will most certainly add impetus in our quest towards excellence. We look forward to your continued patronage and assure you of the very best in services, facilities & hospitality in the true tradition, is committed to delivering to all our guests. Possessing the most exceptional and premium cuisine, Mezban has gained the reputation among the foodies as one of the âbest try dining experiencesâ of a lifetime. It provides superior quality service and an extensive menu which includes traditional Malaba
Mezban restaurant co-located with Hotel Asma Towers on Mavoor road, in the heart of kozhikode city. The first look inside revealed a beautiful decor, all in white, giving the place a very soothing effect. Soon a menu card (book) was placed in our hands, and immediately the doubts started. The repast offered was vast and varied, thus making it difficult to decide what to dine on.However we settled on 'Adu Soup', a dish of 'Mutton Pepper Masala' and chapati to go with. The 'Adu Soup' (mutton soup) was served in a soup dish, which rather pleased us, (as we preferred to eat soup rather than slurp it). The consistency was correct, and the taste perfect. Mutton Pepper Masala had crushed pepper corns in the nicely blended gravy giving the dish a unique texture and taste; the mutton was tender, suggesting that it has been properly marinated and cooked.I highly recommend this restaurant and suggest that it should not be missed if one is in Kozhikode.
