Find out what International restaurants to try in Koror. It’s time to one-up all those people you know who brag about swimming with dolphins. How? Tell them you swam with jellyfish in Koror at Jellyfish Lake. (They don’t sting, but that can be our little secret.) For an adventurous day trip, visit Ngardmau Falls-- your tour will involve hundreds of stairs, wading across a river, and hiking along an abandoned mine railway.
Things to do in Koror
Very new place, almost certainly not on the Internet but visitors should know about it cos it's cheap and excellent food, locals go there
I loved this place because it's dead friendly and cheap and it looks like Palauans actually eat there, unlike the sushi, Indian and other more touristy spots nearby. They have an (oddly) eclectic menu - fish burgers, fish and chips, some Palau-style noodle dishes and a couple of sea cucumber dishes (don't recommend them - nor did the waitress, loved her honesty). But best of all was the $5 appetizer of salmon sashimi, piled high and fresh and delicious. Be warned: there's really no atmosphere, it's pretty functional, but after a day's diving when you're famished and don't want to drop $30 for dinner, it's all you need. It seems very new as well, I asked Trip Advisor to make this listing just so I could tell you about it.
The restaurant is hidden in a hotel call Palau Plantation Resort. Good thing is the restaurant provides complimentary pick-up/drop-off service within Koror. On the day we went, we were the only table. Just like most of the advisors say, the foods are ok, and in small portion, which is different from most of the restaurants in Palau. Jungle rice was great. Beers are the same. Cocktails taste like iced juice or iced water. Iced tea is not refillable, which is also different from most of the restaurants in Palau.I think if you would like to try something new, itâs good to give Jungle Bar a try. Otherwise, there are many other choices on the main street.
Located at 3rd floor with the best scenery in the hotel, our restaurant offers buffet breakfast, a la carte for lunch & dinner. Besides, we also provide beverages in the evening. DO NOT MISS THE SUNSET MOMENT EVERY EVENING!

I'd heard this place was a reliable restaurant for a sandwich, so I asked the ladies what the best thing was on the menu. "A sandwich", they replied. The menu is mostly burgers and grilled sandwiches, although there were a couple of noodle dishes."Which sandwich?" I asked. "The shawarma" they suggested. I had my doubts, however it was quite good. It did have more bun than meat, but the addition of carrots and cucumbers added plenty of uniqueness and flavor. And you can't beat the price - $3.The accompanying french fries were pretty basic frozen, deep fried fries, but at least the oil they were cooked in was not old. This is a snack stand and has tables. I only ate there once, but would return on subsequent visits for a quicky, yummy take-out meal.

Had lunch here last week. The food was OK, nothing great & the service was extremely slow, but friendly. Go to the Drop Off Bar & Grill, around the corner. Much better.

attached to Sam's tours
Located on the dock of Sam's Tours Dive company, Bottom Time has good food at fair prices. After a tiring day of diving, it was nice to have a close-by place to kick back, enjoy beers overlooking the ocean, and have dinner. The quality and taste of the food was excellent, even if there wasn't so much variety on the menu. Burgers were tasty and filling. French fries were also good and worthwhile. Chicken fingers, sold as an appetizer, were served in heaping portions. Best of all was the fish. All of their fish is tuna, which they buy on the local market - so if the fishermen didn't catch enough tuna on a given day, Bottom Time can't sell fish. Unreliable maybe, but fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the sashimi and the fish fingers.

Stumbled across the restaurant while taking an exploratory stroll after diving at Sam's Tours. The spot looked lovely and picturesque, so booked for dinner the next day.Restaurants in Koror run a pick-up and drop off service, so we asked our hotel to arrange a pick up with the restaurant's car.All of that was fine and they gave us a spot on the balcony facing the marina. It was "happy hour" with cocktails at a lower rate, but the drinks we ordered barely had any alcohol in it. I have a low tolerance for alcohol, a couple of sips of beer or wine usually gives me a buzz but I had hardly any reaction from the entire drink.Food was expensive but the quality was poor. The kitchen seems to have no concept of courses so our mains came shortly after our starters arrived, so everything got tepid rapidly. It offers a type of weird Japanese, western fusion and seemed popular with Japanese tourists - even its menu had Japanese text. But must say, it was all not good.It was very disappointing. Come for the sunset if you must because there's nothing to recommend thereafter.

Elilai Seaside Restaurant & Bar is Palau's premiere dining experience on the waters edge. With a sunset view of the Rock Islands Elilai serves the very best in Pacific Rim cuisine using local ingredients. Our menu includes Fresh local seafood and salads,
This restaurant has a great view with very friendly staff and the highest quality food on the island. The steak is best and pasta is good I could have had a little more salt in my pasta but I understand that everyoneâs tastes are different. The price is high but you get the quality that you pay for! I would recommend paying in CASH to dodge the 4% surcharge if using credit card. But all in all the place is highly recommended.Dear nwolosiuk, Elilai Seaside and staff would like to thank you for visiting with us. We take pride in all of the aspects of running a restaurant and want to captivate every guest that walks through that entrance. Your review brings a smile to all of us at Elilai Seaside. The fact that you recognize the quality and our goodwill is very humbling. Our prices are a bit higher than our competitors but Elilai Seaside gives you what you can't get anywhere else on the island and since we are on an island, our costs run higher but we will always give you value for your dollar.Chef Roy
