The food here is consistently delicious. We actually came for breakfast based on price but came back later for the ice cold beer.The pancakes are probably the best on the island. The french toast also delicious. But their whole grain toast and omelet is probably my favorite....

For a happy-hour drink the place is praceful and good, but make sure you leave before the braindead dj starts his «show». The noize can be heard miles away and i really feel pity for the people who have booked their holiday in nearby resorts. Unbelievable that it is allowed. Completely ignoring anyone else.

The food was really great and very tasty, price compared outside is not so far different so its worth the experience in dining with amzing beach view in sunrise beach. I highlly recommend everybody to eat here as well with very polite accommodating staff all the time. Great Job Venice & Danny and the General Manager.

Love this place it’s pretty nice location and love umbrellas putting in indoor it’s a great idea! Staff it’s attentive and helpful if improve more more professional Burmese when they serve Asian don’t be shy and be professional that all it’s perfect! Food presentation it’s nice and yummy!

Charges twice the price for drinks here than elsewhere but that is expected in a “nice restaurant”. It baffled me that he staff were all wearing “SAVE KO LIPE” T shirts but gave plastic straws with every drink without asking. Would definitely suggest investing the small price for bamboo straws or maybe ask each customer! Felt a little hypocritical. Paid 150baht for a large beach when I paid 100 in the restaurant down the road later that night and 70 at the local shop. Don’t waste your money if you’re on a budget but decent spot to come for drinks if not worried about money.

I was recommended by a friend to have dinner at this restaurant. So my girlfriend and I took his advice. There was only myself and one of the table there as it was off-season. The food was excellent but extremely expensive compared to other restaurants on the island. Service was good and friendly. Could I go back there again? Probably not at those prices but if more reasonable then yes because the food was nice. During the day I’m sure the view is excellent but we were there at night so you couldn’t see anything.

Tropical Koh Lipe Located at the top end of Walking Street (other end to the beach) you find the beautifully presented Tropical cafe / coffee house. We found this place on our 2nd day on the island and then proceeded to have breakfast, more like brunch and diner ever day, with the exception to our last day! The food is absolutely fantastic......and we should know as we had virtually every meal on the menu! The prices are reasonable especially when you consider the quality of the foods! Diners can have free drinking water.....they even offer free drinking water to people who have a Save Koh Lipe cup (don’t know where to get these from). The staff......ALL OF THEM! We’re absolutely fantastic! Always welcomed with a beaming smile! They were remarkably attentive and on hand at all times! This place is without doubt worth a visit......and I suspect once you’ve been you return time after time! Just like we did :) Thanks Tropical you made our stay extra special and we hope to see you again!
