Reviews on International food in Khartoum, Khartoum State, Sudan. Khartoum (/kɑːrˈtuːm/ kar-TOOM) is the capital and largest city of Sudan and the state of Khartoum. It is located at the confluence of the White Nile, flowing north from Lake Victoria, and the Blue Nile, flowing west from Ethiopia. The location where the two Niles meet is known as "al-Mogran" (المقرنthe confluence). The main Nile continues to flow north towards Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea.
Things to do in Khartoum
This place is underrated, I think due to the relatively remote location.A quite place, romantic, the food is very good, actually of the best in town, very keen service, fast too..Beef Stroganoff is highly recommended
We visit this restaurant about once a month, the food is excellent but be prepared for a wait as it is cooked to order. This is no problem for us as it gives us a chance to have a relax and conversation with friends. The food has never disappointed us and they are generous portions. This week I phoned an order in to takeaway - food was ready and waiting when I arrived and naan and roti was cooked fresh as I paid the bill.

I went there for the first time and asked for breakfast at 10 and I was told there is no breakfast menu only sandwich and dishes ordered a roast beef sandwich and it was horrible nothing in the dish was fresh even vegetables the bread had a wired smell overall it's just one of the really bad food experiences ever
The restaurant is beside the Nile. It is structured like a Nubian house or fort and specializes in Nubian foodUnfortunately the Nile had flooded so we could only sit on an upper terrace and not right by the NileThe menu is very interesting but we did not have time to eatWe had lemon and mint drinks which were very goodWe also chatted with the manageress who showed us around the restaurantIt has very interesting features. Will try and eat here if at all possible it is so nicely situated
A group of. us went to In'N'Out, having been before and the food had been of good enough for us to return, this week the standard of cooking had dropped. I had the burger with Swiss cheese and mushroom sauce - the burger was over cooked to a frazzle, the coleslaw was a watery tablespoon amount in a ramakin. I did not realise until after we had left that one member of the group had ordered a drink twice and it had not appeared! Hard pushed to return here.

Soak up panoramic views of the city by day with a coffee or cool drink in our skyline café. Linger after dusk in the buzzing main space or retire to a quieter adjoining room as the capital's lights twinkle below.
I arrived early for dinner at Rickshaw and decided to just hang out and have a snack at the Cafe. The environment was quite enjoyable and the service impeccable. The only downside is that they don't have wifi, which surprised me.Dear Guest,Thank you for using Café Khartoum. We are glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and found the service impeccable. Since your review, we are pleased to inform you that we now offer free Wi-Fi throughout the property for all our patrons and guests. We look forward to delivering the same high level of service on your next visit.Sincerely,Nicholas BorgGeneral Manager

Inspiring architecture with panoramic views of Khartoum and the Nile River. With spectacular views of Sunut Forest, the White and Blue Nile and the bucolic charms of Tutti Island, this superbly designed restaurant caters to all tastes with it's mouth-wate
That's really the highlight. The confluence of the two Niles. And Tutti island, Omdurman, and Khartoum North (Bahri). You won't get a better public view anywhere, as this is up on the 28th floor of this egg-shaped futurely designed hotel funded by Gaddadi during his heydays in Africa. The food? A buffet. International.Bland but decent. What you'll remember is the view.So take a window seat, if you are not afraid of heights.Dear Guest,Thank you for your review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the amazing views from the Mugran Restaurant located on our 16th floor . We are currently offering a variety of themed nights ranging from African to Mediterranean and International cuisines. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit,Sincerely,Nicholas BorgGeneral Manager
