The menu is exciting but the food is disappointing. Mushrooms in my dish were clearly from a can. No flavour. It was obvious the ingredients were not fresh. Overally I think if they get a real chef and proper kitchen staff this place could be great

The gardens that Cindy and David have created are spectacular. My group of 4 went here on Valentine's Day and it was such an amazing experience. The walk through the gardens before dinner and taking in the breathtaking views was a great start to an amazing night. The food that was served was good. David was a wonderful host as Cindy was injured and not super mobile during our visit. taking time to visit with everyone. The open bar was fantastic. The quesadillas during appetizers were our favorite. I would definately recommend eating here and will do it again on my next trip to Costa Rica. We were passing by and stopped in this kinda cute restaurant, we were very surprised for the quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes as well as the kindness of the people. Al Fresco and Chef Darrell and his team executed a 40 plate poolside lunch with ease and perfection. They were organized, and ready. Our food was delicious and being able to be relaxed and served poolside, in our bathing suits, was fantastic. Great job!

Went to dinner at the Lemon Zest on our last night in Jaco. Was not disappointed. It's menu consists of more of an international flavor rather than typical Costa Rican meals. They offer a variety of seafood, beef and chicken as well as options for vegetarians. Our group ran the gamut of each. All of us were very pleased with our meals. Excellent taste and size. It's not the cheapest restaurant in Jaco but worth the cost if you want something a little extra special.

One of my favorite restaurant's in Costa Rica's Central Pacific area of downtown Jaco Beach, the Green Room has always offered incredible specials for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. ONe of the best offers is their special 3 slider offer with 3 beer samples on Mondays for $10.50 tax included! It is a joy to behold when your waitperson brings it to your table, and your choices are endless. Highly recommended for their food, ambiance, live and music, and super cool vibes. Great prices on everything, including their large draft beer selection.

My wife and i were traveling to JRO, for our flight back to Denmark. We stoped for lunch, and were overwheled at the delicious food served in no time, and the enthusiasm of Elmez, Our host and his team. Deffenitely worth a stop. Highly recomend able. Hola! We took the family to this restaurant for our evening meal. From the start this felt like an American bar with baseball playing on the large screen. Perhaps this is the intention but a little disappointing when you are in Costa Rica.The service was ok but regrettably our starters of mozzarella sticks were still frozen on the inside. We sent these back but the waitress never apologised in fact she seemed a little upset that we had mentioned it. We got fresh hot starters but an apology would have been nice. Otherwise the food is regular American cuisine, burgers, faijtas etc.This is ok but not for a special night out.

This restaurant offers a truly breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the ocean. We stayed at Villa Caletas for a long weekend and enjoyed all of our meals here. The food was excellent, but what really sets this restaurant apart is the incredible service. Reiner Aronedas and his staff go out of their way to ensure that guests have a great experience. As an example, we were running late to catch a tour bus and didn't have time for a full breakfast, and Reiner was kind enough to pack us some muffins and coffees to go! Definitely five stars!
