I'm a travelling engineer and like to dine outside the hotel (offcourse).Using tripadvisor when i am unknown in town.This italian is very good in quality and has a nice relax atmosphere....Very recommendable!

We were a big group, between 40 and 50 people. I must say they managed a pretty good buffet, which is not always the case: food needs to be kept warm but not overcook. They played it safe with meat, rice, potatoes and veggies. The Geschnetzeltes and the chicken rolled in bacon were excellent. The desserts also nice. Service was impeccable (they naturally switched to english as they heard it spoken at our table... it wasn't necessary but a nice touch). The atmosphere was very cosy in a charming old building. The wine list was a bit unsatisfying for a high end restaurant, but all in all it was all good... and I didn't get to see the bill!

I never expected good Greek food in Germany and my surprise turned into delight when I decided to go to Akropolis in Dortmund. A great choice of food and a pleasant ambience! The restaurant is also good to host small celebrations. In fact, if you would like to surprise your friends, you could not do better than gifting them a gift voucher to dine here. Your friends would love it. Being a chicken lover, I enjoyed the suflaki especially the cheese baked one. Much different from our Indian chicken nevertheless very very tasty! While you are there try the baked potato with garlic butter never mind your weight. I could not resist trying the cinnamon and lemon halva. My friend ever the weight watcher could not resist either and he tried the yogurt with nuts and honey. Both were delectable.

We were staying in the holiday inn next door and noticed this from our window and just went around, what a fantastic place, very cool feel, nice staff and brilliant food, just found out new favourite place to stay when traveling across Europe (which we do a lot) very impressed.

The name suggested that they would have great steaks and we certianly tried the place. Setting is awesome, outside on the square you can relax and people watch all day. The interrior of the restaurant is gracoius, traditional and welcoming. Ordered a steak that the waiter reccomended and was very dissapointed in the quality of the meat and also being tough. Not once did the waiter return to the table to ask if we were happy. So I will not reccomend this place other than sitting and enjoying a beer or two whilst people watching.

I had the seasonal tasting menu with wine pairing and both were excellent. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly and the flavours worked well together, I agree with the other reviewer that the soup is not to be missed. Interesting mix of German and international food. Very friendly and helpful front of house staff and ambience too. It's a bit out of the way but there is a regular bus service from the nearest u bahn station.

Visited here on an overnight stay in Dortmund. They cater for tourists by having English menus available. Price are a bit on the steep side but then again you get what you pay for. I had steak and couldnât fault any part of it. Service is prompt and waiters speak pretty good English too. I would definitely try some of the other items on my next visit.

We enjoyed the modern look, the service and the excellent food. I donât speak German but thankfully the restaurant had a menu in English and the servers spoke some English too. We had the three course meal which was accompanied by several amuse bouches. I particularly enjoyed the rabbit raghu. Our American credit cards didnât work with the table side credit card reader but the machine at the front desk did the trick.

It was good to visit this restaurantWe ordered steak and it was very delicious and staff service was amazing but we missed the following in the menu:Mashed PotatoBlue cheese appetizersOther type of Melted cheese Garlic sauceThey donât have!And WiFi donât have as well.Generally it was excellent experience, but i think they need some minor improvement in appetizers
