Reviews on International food in Curitiba, State of Parana, Brazil. The French-inspired Botanical Garden of Curitiba is one of the Brazilian city’s most popular attractions, its colorful flowers, ponds, paths, and art nouveau greenhouse creating a sweet-smelling fairyland. After a floral stroll, continue to explore Curituba’s lovely landscapes at Parque Estadual de Vila Velha and Parque Tanguá. Visit the Museu Oscar Niemeyer, a celebration of the architect’s bold, abstract works, then enjoy a performance at the marvelous Ópera de Arame, built to look like it’s fashioned out of wire.

This restaurant has great service and great food. We went on a Thursday: they had a four-course menu for $30! And they don't charge the 10% service tax. Amazing. The first 3 were very good, even the rump steak was cooked to perfection. The desert was average (but there was a very nice one on the menu I wanted to try...)All the soft drinks come in glass bottles, which are so much better than (toxic) aluminum cans and so hard to find... and were also very good value (+- R$3 per bottle). If we had stayed longer, we would have returned to try the other options in the menu.Senac is not very well located but it is ok to walk there at daytime.

I went for celebrating my wedding anniversary and it was with great surprise we were received by the waiter in a great atmosphere being invited to visit the wine cellar and there we had the chance to choose our wine for the night. When we sat and started to check the menu, we had an amazing couvert, with different type of delicious breads. The main course was also really good, but as nothing is perfect, when I got the bill I understood all that has a high price, but worth.

The restaurant is located strategically in the Food Court of the Patio Batel Mall, and offers the most accurate techniques of the French cuisine, along with a touch of the Italian cuisine and Brazilian flavors. Combined with the best French technique for
This place even with the fact it's located inside a shopping mall has very good standards both for service and food quality. The waiters are all very polite and helpful .The lunch menu has some good options for vegetarians, mainly pastas and some (small) salads available.Good for business meetings, quiet and not too busy

Our address is located in beautiful historic house, that keeps memories of the past. Around our walls, a lot of art, culture and books. Everything is made to make you feel at home. Our food is an invitation to new experiences, with new flavors and scents
We have been here for lunch a couple different times, both on the weekend. This place is unlike any other restaurant we have been to in Brazil. The flavors are unique and amazing. European, Asian and Middle Eastern influences. Very creative stuff. Vegetarian friendly, but always with a meat dish and fish on the buffet. Great dessert buffet as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. No AC. Parking lot next door gives discount for patrons. R$60 for weekend lunch buffet.

We were delighted that the staff remembered our names and brought the meat exactly the way we asked (medium-rare and medium). The guacamole was tasty and fresh and the tortillas were crispy. For the main course, we ordered a tenderloin medallion with mushrooms and asparagus. To our great disappointment, both mushrooms and asparagus were canned. Considering the price they charge, we could have never guessed they serve canned food. When we complained, the waiter said he would take our suggestion to the chef. I believe if we had ordered another dish we would have enjoyed it more, so I still recommend you check it out (just stay clear of the Steak de Lyon).

Went to this restaurant last night after reading other reviews on here. WOW.. what a place you arrive the door opens , sat at your table almost instantly and given a brief explanation of whats in store. The night begins with a cocktail that literally is served on a spoon, followed by a 15 course tasting menu, we are asked if we are ok with seafood, meats etc, or have any allergies , and then without further a do , the surprises arrive, one by one. Each plate is delivered by the chef and explained, we are then left to go ahead and devour, after each plate is served there is a good few minutes to chat between courses, digest the incredible creations and wonder whats in store for the next round. What a delightful way to spend an evening . To write whats on the menu here, i believe would spoil the surprise element and that of course is a major part of the experience at this restaurant, but think of good wholesome Brazilian and European flavours. My suggestion simply go there , do not ask questions and let them entertain you. Other points: - They have a very good wine list , and the service is excellent.

My wife and I came to Coco Bambu for a late lunch after arriving in the city on a Saturday afternoon. We were having trouble finding a place that was still open at half past three, and this was still open. We'd been staying in rural Brazil for over a month and wanted to treat ourselves to some good food, and this place did not disappoint. We got some Italian style calamari, which had an incredible, flavorful sauce, and we got a mixed rice dish which had lobster tail, shrimp, calamari, local fish, and mussels in it. The diversity in the rice dish was amazing, and the rice was very flavorful. The lobster tail was the highlight. Overall, the whole meal, with water and a couple ten real fees for live music, was just around 80 USD, which is incredible for how much high quality food we got. I tried my best to eat as much of the rice dish as possible, which they said was for two people, but it wasn't possible to even make a big dent in it.There was also live music playing a mix of English and some Portuguese songs while we were there. This place is obviously very well managed and maintained, as the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, our server was professional, despite not speaking any English. I speak a small amount of Portuguese and the menus are bilingual, so it was not a problem. The music was also not too loud, allowing my wife and I to chat but still enjoy the music, which is a very difficult balance to maintain.Overall, this place really deserves its place as a great, high quality seafood joint here in Curitiba. I would gladly recommend it to anyone.
