Informeel restaurantje in het winkelcentrum. Snelle service, en de salade met champignons en spekjes was prima. Gerechten en drankjes zijn gunstig geprijsd.

EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF DINING AT DE NIEUWE WINKEL. Prepare to be surprised and amazed by unusual flavours, the pureness of ingredients, food to make you laugh out loud or that you want to savour in silence - all served in our own unique style. Welcome.
We went this evening to restaurant De Nieuwe Winkel, because it has a great recommendation on tripadvisor. It is a small cousy restaurant with trendy staff. We could choose between meet (chicken), fish or vegetarian menu. Because we had some appetite we choose the 6 courses menu with fish. You get something different comparing to other fancy places. We choose fish, so you expect some fish. One of the starters had a bit of fish in it and that was it. The main course was a tasty piece of a carrot (but then purple) and the second main course some beet. Loved the dessert most. A tasty appel and a nice vegie cheesecake variation. We had a nice evening, but at the end we had to laugh about it. If we would go here with our parents they would call us crazy. 160 euro for a petit carrot and beet as main-course. Ridiculous. So if you are a vegetarian and you want something tasty this is the place, but you pay a lot for it. If you want a nice piece of fish or meat better go to another place.

A nod to the Burgundian empire A pre-war building in Groesbeek is the warm décor of Huis Valois. Simple and attractive at the same time. The name Valois refers to an important Burgundian family from France, real life lovers. If you also take the time to e
My wife and I came here with 4 friends after visiting the Groesbeekse wijnfeesten. No need for starters or desserts, we just wanted a good nourishing main course, no hassle. And that is exactly what we got. Everybody agreed the food was superb, and against very reasonable prices.I thoroughly enjoyed my steak and fries, very well grilled, soft and juicy. My wife's burger was so big, she could not finish it on her own.All others in our party loved their dishes as well.Certainly recommend this place, and it has a nice ambiance, grand cafe style.

Let yourself be spoiled and order the 5 course surprise menu. Absolutely fantastic! We spend over 3 hours enjoying all the amazing taste combinations and didnât want this experience to end. Lovely selection of wines, very good, professional and enjoyable staff. We definitely will be back when we visit Nijmegen again.

My family and I, arrived at 18.45. We studied the menu and ordered a four course meal. After a little snack, a few amuses bouches were served, they were very tasty and beautifully plated so we were really looking forward to our dinner. The starter arrived at about 20.15 and the intermediate dish more than an hour later. The quality of the food was excellent well prepared and beautifully positioned on the plate. So we waited and waited for our main course. At 22.00 we asked how long the main course would take. it was almost ready but after 15 minutes still no main course. We were not hungry anymore, too much time in between the courses killed our appetite. So we decided to quit, so my son in law looked for the manager outside the dining room to explain the matter in a discrete manner.Unfortunately the manager was quite upset and entered the dining room and in the presence of all the other guests started a fervid discussion. Not very subtle. Also a staff of a restaurant has to realize the presence of teenagers, such long waiting times are difficult and children get easily bored.

The PUUR M formula: small dishes, great tastes. For all lovers of honest food and excellent wines.
We were the only four guests on a rainy and misty Monday night. Not a very inspiring evening for the restaurant crew, but it was beyond their call of duty. We had fantastic and surprising dishes: surprise menu & wines! Keep up the good work. We had a wonderfull evening! Keep up the good work. Your place will be jam-packed even on a Monday night! My husband & I were in Norway for a week, then came to Netherlands for some WWII sites and museums. This hotel was recommended to us, and it was perfect! We got a suite that looks out over the valley! Beautiful! After being in the bustling city of Amsterdam for 2 days, this is just what we needed. Location is superb. View is amazing! Birds chirping & it is just idyllic. The room was amazing! I have never seen a bathroom like that one before. And, with a large soaking tub that was fabulous! The staff were very attentive to our needs. We were so relaxed that we asked if we could check out just a bit later than 11am, and they were totally fine with that. It was the BEST hotel we stayed at during our 12 day vacation. A little disappointed in the dinner meal. We had a new waitress who obviously wasn't trained in properly. Menu is not in English & she struggled to help explain it. We had our cell phones so did out own translation enough to understand menu. Food was good, very fresh. Service was slow...6:30pm reservations, & finished dinner close to 9pm. I know, I'm American & should eat slower, but that was a little too long! View from terrace gorgeous! Price was reasonable. If n the area, this is must to stay at. You will not be disappointed.
Leuke plek om te lunchen en een beperkt aantal avonden om te dineren.Wordt gerund voor en door mindervaliden.Ruime opzet van de tafels, daardoor ook zeer geschikt voor rolstoelen.
