Things to do in Samarinda
Been eating at Dapurku several times while I was holidaying to Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Located not far from Lembuswana Mall and few hotels within walking distance. Value for money and you can get free wifi if you buy anything from the menu (specializing in fish and local dishes). As other family run restaurant don't expect great service like a fancy restaurant at hotel but the ambiance there is cozy and quiet peaceful.Everytime I go there always see many business people from coal mining company chatting and sharing information. (Probably a good head start for those who want to do mining business in Samarinda; even the owner I believe has some business channels as well)
The Best Chinese Restaurant At Samarinda
the place is quite secluded in the corner of 5th floor SCP (next to cinema). The restaurant is quite extravagant compared to other restaurant in the same building. The small portion's menu is quite big and it tastes good too.
I've spend 10 days trip in this town and I've been looking for the "better" chinese cuisine (since my wife doesn't like the taste of the local food ). And then I saw this place and my wife has agreed to go inside. As we order and they served the food, we were finally for the first time enjoyed the foods we eat in this town. Try it you'll love it . For an additional notes, we were ordering Fried Tofu with vegetables (Cah Tahu Ayam) with Fried Chicken (Ayam Goreng) and Telur Bombay (Fried omelette)
International Brand serving Indonesian Nusantara cuisine with our star menu: Ayam Penyet/Bakar, Iga Penyet/Bakar, Ikan Bakar, Bebek Penyet/Sambal Ijo, Sop Buntut, Tahu Telor etc with delicious Cendol beverages. With a cozy and spacious place, perfect for
I love the veggies asam rebus. Durian cendol was amazing with real durian, not additives. Grilled fish was Tasteful

Had a good time in this cafe located in a high end residential area, reasonable and tasty food, mostly young people or couples here. A bit too many mosquitos but perhaps because of the rain shower..

Looks so familiar but taste a bit different, in a good way.You get a extra dry deep fried chicken, which is great with the chili. If you can't have hot spicy food, ask for "cabai hati ampla".For those who come from java, you should try their "sayur asem". It's doesn't have the acidic taste at all but you get slightly sweet taste.

Best smoked crab in town, pricey but yummy. Delicious ca pakis vegetable... Fish were good, we ordered the rojak fish. Clam was so so. Overall its a good place to dine but a bit pricey. The smoked crab can be ordered for take home. They wrap it nicely in a bag..
