Ayam Taliwang is made with chicken (preferably free range), which is cut and cleaned prior to grilling. Once it has been grilled halfway, it is removed from the grill and tenderized with a pestle. It is then dipped in cooking oil; after several seconds in
The restaurant has a cozy ambience, nice setting for family or friends. The staffs were attentive and helpful too in recommending which dish you can try.But the best has got to be main dish, which is the Ayam Taliwang itself! I chose the bakar or BBQ as fried chicken is a norm. And I wasn't disappointed! It was my first time trying it and it was the best! Had it with Nasi Goreng and my favourite Teh Botol. Two Thumbs Up!!!!

This Resto serves oxtail soup that is different from the other restaurant, where the soup has a brown color, as compared with other oxtail soup that tends to clear.Flavor of oxtail soup is very tasty, so appetizing to add white rice.

The price is really cheal compared with another Taliwang. We spend 100.000 for 3 Orange Juice, 1 Coconut drink, 3 rice, 2 Plecing kangkung and 2 Ayam Taliwang. Those all for two person. The plecing kangkung is so hot n spicy taste but also fresh. We love it.

This was recommended by our driver and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. 9 of us shared 3 fish, 3 plates of squid, 2 plates of prawn, 1 plate of cockles, 2 plates of stir-fried water convulvulus plus drinks for everyone and the bill came up to 470k Rupiah (approx. USD36), an absolute steal! Best of all everything tasted fresh and competently cooked. The lack of foreign patrons probably played a role in keeping the prices low as we were the only tourists there at the time of our visit. I would certainly re-visit this restaurant during my next trip to Lombok.

I went with my office collage to have the famous seafood of bali and lombok style. And it. Didn't disappoint us at all. Has heard for a long time this delicacy is one of the favourite for tourists and finally I proof that whatever written was true. Price is good enough for restaurant worthed. The place is beach front and the food... For this kind of grilled with coconut fish, the four different types of sambal is just super. Made my tongue and belly happy. Rekomen. Banget deh untuk turis turis lokal untuk dinner sambil sunset an disini. Kalau lagi high season akan perlu booking duluan atau kehabisan ikan. Udang agak pricy buat saya indo, tapi worthed banget. Semua dibakar. Spesialis bakar. Will come. Back and recommend.

Roemah Langko by Putera Lombok menyediakan masakan khas Pulau Lombok dan juga aneka masakan Nusantara
We couldn't locate the place through waze looking with the name "Roemah Langko" and then we were finally able to locate the place with the name "Putera Lombok". The place is clean and the atmosphere is pretty good. But the waiter mistook our order and we weren't able to cancel it. The food was okay. I tried their highly recommended ayam taliwang and found that their chicken is pretty dry, but overall acceptable. Their apple juice have a weird taste to it but it definitely doesn't taste like apple. But all in all the experience here was okay.

Sate Rembige is one of my fav local food from Lombok. With sweet and spicy flavour mixed together beautifully create a signiture taste that make them stands out especially compared to regular indonesian satay with peanut souce. Simply must eat them with their traditional lontong. The other highly recommended dish from this place is their âsup bebalungâ (ribs soup). The rich broth made out of ribs with enough touch of spices clears out your pallet.Terima kasih. Kami tunggu kedatangannya kembali.

Authentic 'Ayam Taliwang' Cuisine
We had heard that the food in Lombok would be spicy, and were looking forward to mouth-burning sweat-inducing food. Taliwang Irama delivered like no other! We enjoyed every bite of chicken and fish. The experience of eating while seated on the floor and without utensils was new for us, but we were quite happy to try. Iâm so sorry to have discovered it on our last day in Lombok since we couldnât eat there again. I would love to back!

My partner and I visited this restaurant on the strength of the reviews and were not disappointed. Located in the north east of Mataran just off a main road with several restaurants the restaurant is very modern with a glass Rollpin - visited this restaurant on the strength of the reviews and not disappointed. Located in Mataran along a road with several restaurants Rollpin is a very modern restaurant offering seating inside a glass box or outside on a terrace. We received a very warm welcome from the staff on arrival and enjoyed the samosas and the Indonesian spring rolls with dipping sauce followed by the Nasi Goreng and the cheesy chicken. The only slight disappointment was that there was no beef (which I was looking forward to sampling based on the rave reviews) and the Nasi Goreng had the chicken substituted for small prawns served with shell on which were tricky to peel. A round trip by taxi from Mangsit took just over an hour and cost IDR Rp 180,000 (approx. £10) with the driver waiting at the restaurant whilst we had our meal. Live music was provided by an excellent acoustic guitarist and the waitress invited us to make requests and to come up and sing. The outside terrace is adjacent to a leafy area with the river beneath and the restaurant provides complimentary mosquito spray. We had extremely attentive service provided throughout our meal and were made to feel really welcome. On the Monday night we visited there was a lucky dip and we won a free dessert (âcrepe pinâ). It was similar to ice cream made from cane sugar with small mini banana pancakes and was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a trip to the capital to visit Rollpin.
