Indian cuisine restaurant, with modern influences. Mum Nerja really has brought contemporary and exciting Indian cuisine to Nerja. Forget everything that you thought you knew about Indian food and head to MAA as soon as possible. Tandoori mushrooms or Chi
Tonight we visited Mum Indian after reading some online reviews. It was good food. The paneer makhani was very flavourful and the accompanying egg rice was good too. I didnât actually like the garlic naan because it had too much raw garlic for my taste. My husband however, liked it! His chicken tikka masala was a little too creamy for him. He actually preferred the flavour of my veggie makhani. The place was lacking a bit of atmosphere but we are early diners, so it might have gotten better later on... in our opinion it was missing some music!

Four of us visited for dinner. We all chose something different and everyone enjoyed their choices. For me, the chicken phal was delicious - full of favour and heat. Service was friendly and efficient, portion sizes generous and drinks prices very reasonable. All in all a good choice if a curry is what is required. Thank you very much for your nice review. We are looking forward for your next visit. See you soon. Thank you. Regards, Goa Town

We heard a lot of reviews saying to avoid this restaurant if it is busy as apparently it takes two hours to wait between courses.. We saw it was fairly busy but decided to go in... Anyway drinks were brought promptly to our table... Pappadom and pickles were lovely I recommend the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, Tara Dahl, keema rice! The Buddah special was horrible and one to avoid.. A super place to eat out! Not too expensive either.

We went here based on the reviews. To be fair we are vegetarians so our experience is based in just those foods. It was OK but the vegetarian options were not as great as other Indian restaurants. Thought the the service was good. Parking in the area is not easy in the summer.
