Inspired by the heritage dishes of India and Punjab, Flame is a window into the ancient culinary world of the North West of Southern Asia; a jewel in the heart of New Plymouthâs CBD. Our enticing menu selection features entrees, curries, banquets and dess
Great food, lovely service and definitely good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with our daughters and especially loved the innovative nann bread with chilli and olives. Who would have though Olives would taste so good with curry? We enjoyed it so much that our daughters insisted that we needed to return for lunch the next day. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in New Plymouth.

Punjab Grill offers food synonymous with the Punjab region and also the southern regions of India and Pakistan. The cuisine has a rich tradition of the local ways of cooking, one of which is a special form of tandoori grill-style cooking. Tandoori cooking

Fine Dinning,Takeaways, South Indian (Kerala) Restaurant, South Indian Vegetarian Sunday Buffets, Open 6 days. Closed on Mondays.
Chicken Dosa with coconut chutney, chicken Ishtoo and chicken Manchurian were standouts for me. Generous portions, timely service. I am not usually a fan of Indian food but loved my Indian food experience at Malabar and would recommend trying it out for casual dining. I will definitely return and will try their takeout too.

Contemporary upmarket authentic Indian Malay restaurant with a point of difference. We also specialise in craft beer and good selection of single malt/ blended whisky. Please ask about the upcoming tasting nights. Private whisky lockers are also available
Went here with friends for dinner and had the lamb rack (which was actually three lamb cutlets) and it was really bland and the cutlets were overcooked and dry. My friends had the Kuning curry and the Bhuna Mema which were both really great. We also had a variety of the Naan breads and they were great. The waitress had recommended a few of her favourites and the lamb cutlets was not on her list - maybe that is why! The Kuning curry was though. The waitress and the guy behind the bar were both lovely and very apologetic about the cutlets. I would go again, but listen to the waitress for her recommendation next time.
