We ordered a take-away from the Blue Burton, one Saturday within the first few weeks of them opening. So we could check it out inside, we decided to collect our meal. The car park was full, the restaurant heaving & atmosphere totally chaotic. Our order hadnât been started, so we had to wait another half hour for that! However, management were very apologetic, offered us a drink whilst we waited & even discounted the bill for us. The take-away was excellent though, so we thought weâd try again & this time we booked a table mid-week. On this occasion the restaurant was not so busy & the whole experience much more relaxed. The food was, once again, up there with some of the best Indian cuisine weâve ever tasted. (Tip: try the toasted popadoms, as opposed to the ordinary ones. Theyâre lovely & crispy!) The prices are quite reasonable - even the drinks. Weâll most definitely be using this restaurant on a regular basis & so glad we gave them another try.

Recently visited on a Saturday night with my other half. Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. Our soft drinks were totally flat, our food was meh (the rice was terrible) and our waiter was really forgetful. Our bill was very high for the quality of the food served up.
An authentic indian takeaway. We will deliever the aromatic taste of india to your front door at an unbeatable price.
We decided to try this place out by ordering a takeaway. I had a chicken jalfrezi and ordered it mild and it was still really hot more than hot enough for me. My mum had the combination curries of butter chicken and chicken tikka achari which was exceptionally nice and dad had chicken pathia madras hot which was enjoyable for him. Overall the curries were excellent and had plenty of big chunks of chicken I think we shall be returning to this Indian restaurant .

Another high quality banquet from spice garden. Sorry my headphone enabled daughter did not hear the doorbell. Thanks guys will be ordering again real soon. Recommended to the Swadlincote populous for great quality Indian food. DONT order from just eat they have their own website. Just eat are killing businesses with their high charges.

Been visiting this curry house for nearly 17 years, and always been happy. Nice cold pint of Cobra, always a good sign to kick the meal off. Perfectly adequate meal, without blowing your mind, and a reasonable price too. Extensive menu with lots of choice, plenty of staff to ensure swift service, however some of the younger guys looked like they would rather be elsewhere...mind if was NY's Eve...Sat upstairs for the first time, not as much atmosphere as downstairs, but not a problem as we hadn't booked a table.cOverall a perfectly decent curry, well worth the money...

The welcome is extremely good and the staff are very friendly. The draft Cobra is excellent and the restaurant is very reasonably priced. The food is great and the staff are only too pleased to accommodate any requests for alterations or additional items added to a dish for example I asked for Salmon Tikka Shashlic. Which isnât on the menu but no trouble to them at all . The poppadom and pickles are great

Booked a table for 8pm, 8.30 still no table! Finally got a table 9.40pm still no food! When the food eventually arrives my husbands lamb dish is actually a chicken dish, itâs amazing that your service is so slow yet you can rustle up the correct dish in 2 minutes! Nothing wrong with food but service was disgusting! Absolutely nothing to warrant us going back to Swadlincote ever again
