We do go to the restaurant to eat, but more recently we've had a couple of takeaways from the Rajmoni. We've been really pleased with the quality of the food and everything gets eaten. In particular my favourite is their Chicken Tikka Dsansak.

Welcome to Pappadams, the new 'authentic' Indian resto in Reading. At Pappadams, we take Indian food to a whole new 'super' level. We do this by fusing our traditional aesthetic cooking with good attributes like honesty and passion. We commit ourselves to
A relaxed atmosphere, just minutes away from the more frenetic town centre, with friendly staff and tasty, well spiced and authentic tasting food. I enjoyed my veggie biryani although am used to a separate veggie curry so it seemed slightly dry for my taste. There are plenty of meat and veggie options and the menu could benefit from more descriptions. About £20/head for pappadams, main with a side and a beer including tip and I certainly will return.

Good service. Bring own drinks at no charge. Plenty of variety and reasonable prices. Have reviewed several times. Well laid out and comfortable seating. Maybe getting used to it but feel food quality has dropped off a bit. Nothing wrong with quantity, but seems to lack that extra bit of quality

Always a good sign when a place is packed at 6.30!Great quality of food and ample portions. Try the tak-a-tak for something a little different - itâs drier than a typical curry but still plenty of rich sauce.Probably the best Indian restaurant in Reading and prices much the same as the rest.

Fine dining
Sunday buffet for a family party. Good service and a nice choice of food, and the naan bread was fantastic. Please sort the ladies loo out- no hand towels to dry hand (just few dirty ones in the bin) and the taps are almost coming off the wall! Many thanks for your kind words. Sincere apologies for the hand towel situation. We will try to keep a more frequent check on the cloakrooms. And the taps are built into the wall. I will ask the team to make sure they are all working.Kind regards

Dhaulagiri kitchen is a small family run restaurant offering tradditional Nepalese and Indian cuisine from the chefs with decdes of experience. We offer authentic Thakali dishes and serve a full menu all day
Found this place on TA whilst looking for somewhere for dinner. This is a simple little, cafe looking place with fab food, reasonable prices and good service. This isnât a top end restaurant, which is why itâs so affordable and serves great food. I think itâs the food it relies on and having been to many similar restaurants, I canât fault it.I had poppadoms with a good pickle tray, a Chicken Thali, that was the best Iâve ever had and Roti that was fresh and tasty.Great local eatery. Give it your support and give it a try, you wonât regret it. Iâll be back.

Was a bit skeptical as the restaurant has changed hands from masala 22, but I am blow away at how good the food is! We order to take away and will defiantly be returning. The chicken sag was cooked to perfection and oozed flavour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great advice and fantastic food.

An Indian Restaurant specialising in the regional cuisine that comes from the kitchens of the Royal Kings(Nizams) of Hyderabad in the south of India.â Since we have very limited space, at the moment we are only able to welcome children above the age of 5
Absolutely beautiful food - really fresh flavours . Service was fabulous with the owner ensuring she came to engage with us to check on our evening . Itâs not cheap mainly because we greedily wanted to try so many of the dishes including starters and sides ! Will definitely return

Prior to visiting on a Wednesday early evening I checked their website for opening hours and was pleasantly surprised to see a 2-4-1 offer, but when the bill arrived no offer had been applied, we were charged for both main meals. As I was doubtful of my recollection I paid the full bill and left, but on checking next day I saw I should have got the discount!! If it were not for this deceit I would have given 3 stars as the popodums and pickles were excellent, but my chicken jalfrezi was over priced, the chicken was sparse and of poor quality but the spiciness was good.
