A friendly place to treat yourself to healthy, fresh, delicious vegan Indian street food and drinks, all lovingly made to taste just like the chaat dishes you will find on the street stalls across the subcontinent. Sit and chat with a chai while you enjoy
This snack food outlet is one of the many delights of Grainger Market. We stop here often and are never disappointed. There is a small menu of freshly made, well spiced, Indian street food - all vegan. It's very tasty food that is also guilt-free. Even the plates and cutlery are chosen to have minimum carbon footprint. The whole place has care for your body, your spirit and our planet as core values. Yummy and very good value for money.

We ate here on a Saturday night, the friendly staff showed us to a nice table. Advice on type and spice content of the choice of curry on offer. The food was really good as was the service. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant. We both really enjoyed our choices and will definitely be back.
We have been inspired by the food our families love and enjoy and our passion is to bring the same traditional homely cooking to our customers. Our menu truly represents the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent, with great emphasis placed on sourcing the fr

My husband and I have been customers of Rajnagar since it opened, we love their cooking and the warm welcome we receive when we visit the restaurant. Having said this, we got a takeaway delivered to us at home on Tuesday night, and the chef had done wonders! We had the Lamb Saag, Sag Aloo and Chicken Bhuna; they were absolutely perfect even more delicious than usual. Fantastic!!

I do look carefully at Tripadviser when Iâm staying somewhere where we have no knowledge of local restuarants. What a gem this Restuarant is, the starters and main were truly delicious and I would 100% recommend a visit if you want a Indian crusine. When we fly from Newcastle Airporr again and we want a Indian meal, we will return. .

Welcome to The Mogul Raj Fully Licenced Indian Tandoori Restaurant The Management and the staff offer you a warm welcome to The Mogul Raj. Situated in the heart of Ponteland, The Mogul Raj is both fully licensed and fully air conditioned for your comfort.
Excellent choice, good service and our order was ready quickly and on time.My only criticism was that the dishes did have oil or ghee in which I donât like so although it was tasty, it didnât feel healthy.

Recommended by Michelin Guide 2015 - 2019 and one of only nine Indian restaurants in the country to be awarded a Bib Gourmand. Arguably the finest Indian food in the North of England. Haveli offers great Indian food prepared with only the freshest ingredi
Having visited this restaurant many time before, we were looking forward to our Saturday curry night at Haveli. God knows what has happened, but both the service and the food has gone down hill. Yes it was busy on arrival, but we had to prompt the waiter to ask if our table was ready. Yes it was, but the staff were just not tuned in. We opted for the sharing platter to start with which was tasty. The mains however were either totally over spiced or very bland. Husbands lamb madras left a residue on the tongue! Friends korma was not the normal burst of flavours, but really just cream. We asked for a top up of the two extremely small pots of rice, which was fine but at a cost of £5. So at the end of the meal we spoke to the waiter about our disappointing evening. He happily informed us that "everyone has mentioned how spicy the lamb is tonight"...............I think this place has got too big for its boots. Thinking it has a captive audience in Darras Hall, but they need to realise if their food and service are below par people will just go elsewhere. Gladly we do not live in Portland and are very lucky to have the UK's best casual indian restaurant on our doorstop (Dabawal).
