The south indian thali was very delicious as compared to north indian thali. Love for south indian food on banana leaf.Rava onion dosa was nice and crisp served with red chutney which took it to another level.Chaas was amazingly flavourful in the hot sunny weather.Filter coffee was not good and the onion bhajjji was real crispy and tasty.Staff was good and food was very delicious.

This has to be one of the most authentic Indian vegetarian restaurants I have tasted after my mother in laws! She is a hard lady to beat in the kitchen but this restaurant certainly came close. Staff are efficient but not over friendly, Menu is extensive with proper chatt- and extensive number of dishes along with lots of dosias and breads to choose from. If itâs a proper vegetarian Indian meal you after - here is a must!! Fantastic value for money. We all (family of 4) ate LOTS for â¬13!!

A taste sensation âFlavours from British colonial Asiaâ A passage through the spice route with taste from the culinary traditions of India, the Malay states & the straits settlements. Brought into the 21st century.
A truly unique dining experience, as the diner will sample food combinations from a period in time where English rule & Indian presence combine to create a fusion rarely experienced at this quality. Old world food utilising the most modern of cooking techniques. Staters, Mains & Deserts were all exceptional.Thank you for coming to dine at Malaya. We are delighted you had a exceptional meal, enjoying the fusion cuisine of old Malaya. We greatly appreciate your feedback and hope you will visit us again in the near future.

We enjoyed a few visits here whilst staying at the E&O, which is around the corner. The Indian meals were lovely, as was the ice cold Tiger. Excellent value and good service. Good sports coverage on the large tv's too.

overall very good taste of their curries that includes gravy i mean...prwns are fresh...sotong very good as well...ayam goreng berempah is excellent i would say..(telur masin nothing special to me)..beef not so tender vis a vis Hammediyah or even Nasi Kandar Beratur, as per se.The queue is terrible...kinda of long...Long story short...a MUST try if you have enough time to spend at this place...Def not The No 1 Nasi Kandar in Penang but surely in The Top 6 Ranking, so to- speak...

Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaur
The night market in Batu Ferringhi is a nice place to have dinner. Just pick a table and order at one or more of the food stands. Just remember your tabel number and they bring it when ready. Pay at delivery. Great variation of Asian food

We are staying at the Bayview beach resort opposite the restaurant and after read king many positive reviews thought we would check it out for ourselves. What an amazing experience. Food was very well priced. All 6 of us had full meals with drinks for rm$130. That's about Aud$55.00. Best tasting Indian food I've ever had and I've had lots. Particular mention to the chicken tikka masala. Highly recommended. We will be certainly returning.
