Visited Bollywood again - this time a group of eight of us before going to the Miller Centre. The service was great - when they know you're going to the theatre they make sure you're finished in good time. The staff were friendly and ready for a laugh and a joke, if you let them know you're up for it. Everyone loved their meal

Can not fault the food, very tasty, generous potions. The staff let this place down, they are not at all welcoming, just there to go through the basics, not at all welcoming.A word of advice a 10% service charge is added to the bill ( clearly stated on the menu) presumably no one left them any tips voluntarily due to their attitude.

Seemed cheap but not really worth it.Staff very pleasantWorst thing, the state of gents loo. Walls filthy ,horribleWill not returnVery surprised with your comments. Our toilets are cleaned everyday and the walls are clean. We have Doombar and London pride on offer. Unfortunately we dont have much demand for ales hence only 2 on offer. Our speciality is Indian and Chinese cuisine.Sorry that our venue doesn't fit your particular criteria needs.

We enjoyed a good value and really tasty meal here. Friendly staff, nice decor, good portion sizes. My only suggestion would be they add more vegan dishes for those who don't do dairy- as ghee is in a lot of the vegetarian dishes. Most Indian restaurants do this as a matter of course and that would increase the non dairy dishes.

South Indian delicacy at its best. Here, in The Kerala we earnestly try to reproduce the same village cuisine which is almost alien to your tongue and we cordially invite you to the opulence of a novel and intellectual blend of diversity of taste -viz The
Popped in for a meal before visiting the Miller Centre. My friend and I shared a Marsala Dhosa and a Nadan chicken curry. The food was superb and the service was cheerful, friendly and efficient. I'd recommend The Kerala to anyone for a great Southern Indian meal. Thank you for the feedback. Look forward to serving you again.

With a picturesque little thatched cottage in its grounds and with ample parking space, Shampan Groupâs multi-award winning flagship restaurant is a byword for luxury and elevated food and drink. With several rooms to dine in, an airy and relaxing bar and
Food fantastic , service excellent! The staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued. The food is exquisite and far superior than your standard Indian Restaurant. Our Table was booked for 7pm which was a nice time because the restaurant and car park get very busy from 8pm. Spacious layout and room temperature perfect. They have a nice area to sit and have drinks before your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Dear AEM-xxx,Thank you for the review you have left us. Your compliments indeed are making us smile no end. The Shampan dining experience begins when you enter through the doors and finishes when you leave us. When you dine at Shampan it is a fine Indian dining experience, nothing like a standard meal at an Indian restaurant. We will always do everything to ensure our diners are having the best possible dining experience with us.It seems you enjoyed the evening immensely. Look forward to your next visit.ThanksShampan management

Eight of us arrived,to be greeted cordially and in a cheerful fashion. Throughout our time at this high street venue, the service we received was, contrary to other reviews, prompt and efficient.Unfortunately,it was the food that was the letdown for us.We ordered a variety of dishes, and without exception, each dish was bland and virtually tasteless. Some dishes were even served cold.We deduced that the Golden Bengal's apparent complacency towards their food has been triggered by the lack of local competition in this particular cuisine. When recounting our experience to friends, without exception, they told us that we should have visited the Gurkha Kitchen. That will obviously be our next stop when in Oxted again.
