Fish marinated in yogurt and pomegranate was superb. The shrimp curry was unusual and fabulous. Our waiter Jones was knowledgeable and gracious. Rarely does a waiter understand food the way Jones does. 5 star. Highly recommended authentic Indian experience in Nairobi. And we've been all over India. Go go go.

Booked the tables and food choices in advance and so the service was swift, the food was served in a timely manner. We had the full attention of the wait staff since the place was virtually empty, although it was lunch time. The selection of dishes was excellent and catered for vegetarian members of the party. Available were also fresh fruit and alcoholic drinks. A very pleasant ambience.Thank you for your appreciation and we look forward to serving you again!

The Aero Club of East Africa was founded in 1927 by the aviation pioneers who opened up the frontiers of Africa. It still retains that 1930s romantic charm and historical ambience. The club is the only restaurant at Wilson Airport, four km from Nairobiâs
Having regularly used the Aero Club and this restaurant when travelling through Nairobi, this last visit was a little less impressive than last time. Service was less professional and the food, while of good quality, was not well presented [or as ordered]. Maybe an inevitable occasional blip and we shall certainly try it again.

I went again to Chowpaty and thought that the food was just fabulous. I really enjoy Southern Indian food and had to think that it doesn't get better than this. in .fact it didn't even taste like restaurant food it was so fresh. I can't wait to return.

Haandi specialises in North Indian Frontier cuisine and true to the spirit of the original concept, the masalas are freshly-prepared daily, all the dishes are cooked to order and absolutely everything you eat is created on the premises. Our trademark glas
You can't normally go wrong with Indian cuisine in Nairobi. Unfortunately Haandi is on the lower end of the spectrum. Open house, hashmi and chowpatty all offer more flavor for your buck. Haandis upscale modern decor of course gives it bonus points, but it just isn't worth it given the other available options at your disposal around the corner.

I came here to eat alone but there were no half plates or thalis which I had hoped for. A very old fashioned north Indian restaurant straight out of Mumbai in 1975. The menu was ok but pricey as hell. I had a starter of fried okra which was large but tasteless, a Goan fish curry which was lovely but too rich and lacked complex spicing along with rice and a pudina nan. I finished with a kulfi which was very poor with barely any flavour (and given I make my own Kulfi I know what it should be like). i also had a beer. It cost me a whopping £25. Avoid

Hashmi is the staple for us for a quick tasty fix to feed unexpected guests. A few boxes of mixed grill, piripiri chips and salad are always satisfying. The mixed grill has tikka chicken, lamb chops, kebabs and beef cubes. The spice level is tantalizingly perfect. I actually prefer takeaway, to eat in the comfort of home with my favorite boozy drink, since the restaurant doesn't serve. To avoid sounding like a broken record, I promise to change my order for my next visit.
