Very good traditional Indian food and as mentioned above when the Bangladesh and Indian cricket teams were playing in Napier they voted this establishment the best and I agree. Excellent and varied menu.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant/takeaway is under the ownership of Buddhi Bandari, previously of Red Chilli in Taradale. He serves good unpretentious food with a welcoming attitude in this modest establishment, very reasonably priced and in adequate portions. Nothing fancy but well worth a visit if in the area.

I cannot believe my review is only the second on Tripadvisor for this amazing takeaway.We ordered online with ease and the delivery arrived right on time by a very cheerful lady.We ordered the poppadoms with mint sauce, mango chutney and raita.Onion Bhajis (cooked like pakoras, all in segments and they were delicious and plenty of them.Mains were Chicken Bhuna (Mild) with boiled rice and Shahi Paneer (cubes of cottage cheese in a cashew nut sauce) again with rice, both were superb.Breads were two Naan breads, one garlic (and it was fully loaded with garlic) and Chicken Naan but this was a little dry and thin.All that for $51..if you order on Menulog and spend over $50 you receive 10% off the bill which will cover the delivery charge ($5) or collect.I would not hesitate in recommending this takeaway, well work the moneyThank you Sir for you feedback.

we stopped here to grab some take-away dinner after getting into hastings later than anticipated so most restaurants were closed. The food came quickly and was very nice. they do a take-away special of butter chicken, rice and naan for $10 which is well worth it. service was friendly and i would happily go here again

Service is usually really friendly, the curries are all delicious (and their butter chicken is one of the best I have ever tried). It's a totally affordable, Indian Take Away.
