We have been spent 1 month here in Mauritius (and last year 3 weeks), travelling for 2200 km all around , visiting all the beaches in both coasts and always eat in restaurants on the beaches both for lunch and dinner.Itâs good that the Kiosque brings to you the food directly to the beach , but 55⬠(2500 rupees) for a dish of grilled seafood not including lobster itâs a fortune (also in Europe... letâs imagine here in Mairitius!!!! ) Just consider that in one of the most beautiful restaurant of the Island (Domain Anna in Flick en Flack) you pay 35⬠for the same plate, in an amazing location (you can check it directly here in Trip Advisor), including Southern Africa white wine with a table on the water and 1 dedicated waiter for you.

This family-run restaurant is a real find and I would definitely recommend it. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. I couldn't manage all of my food so they kindly packaged the leftovers up for me. The service was fantastic and made me feel really at home. I was impressed at the number of vegetarian options and my paneer butter masala was as good as any I've eaten in India. I went for dinner but they do thalis if you're there at lunchtime. I'm hoping to fit in a second visit before I head home!

We went to this restaurant since it is mentioned in lonely planet guide. It is not easy to find since tucked on the outskirts of Gran Baie, so you need a car or a taxi to reach it. The location is basic but comfortable, the menu offers a wide choice with local seafood, meat (especially lamb and chicken), rice or noodles and dishes suitable for veggies. The table service is quick, the price fair (a bit lower than in the city center), not the best food in Gran Baie (mind that lonely planet sometimes is over enthusiastic), not even the worst. I think it's worth a visit.

My wife and I visited this amazing restaurant on a Saturday evening and were blown away by the standard of the food. Although I was extremely busy and there was a buffet, which I am usually not a fan of, I loved it all. We have travelled throughout India and enjoy the cuisine. We were almost certainly the only tourists there. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was a real delight during our stay on Mauritius! After trying bunch of restaurants in Grand Baie, we decided to try this one, because it was walking distance from Toparadis hotel where we stayed. And we had a great experience! The food was super tasty and fresh! Staff is really nice, friendly and we had a really nice chat with them each time we visited. This is a family run restaurant and this just adds up to the experience. Also, after trying bunch of different restaurants around we came to the conclusion the the food here was so much better and cheaper at the same time.So for us it was the best value we could get. Menu is big and offers different kinds of cuisines, local, indian, grill. I have tried bunch of different dishes and each was super tasty.Location is great, and has a parking lot, so you can easily drive up here and have a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere.We wish all the best to the owners, you guys made each of our visits a delight.

Iâve been coming here for 25 years every time I visit the island and Chez Ram never disappoints. The fresh caught, grilled Lobster here is simply the best Iâve ever tasted ... ANYWHERE.This place deserves a Michelin star for its simple yet exquisite cuisine. Crab Gratin is another exceptional dish and the Salade dâOurite (octopus salad) is âsensationelleâ.Thank you family Coolen for your insatiable desire to deliver the best fresh food in the region. My wife and I visited for dinner and stayed over following a delicious lunch with our children some two month's before.Chef Yogesh, a highly skilled and well travelled man, warmly greeted us and we enjoyed discussing the eclectic menu and flavours that are unique to Mauritius and by all international standards.The food was sublime and the service truly impeccable and friendly as per the previous visit.We will keep returning to this amazing gourmet delight.

Happy Raja thank you for an amazing lunch. I still can't stop dreaming about the cheese naan that I had with my grilled fish and prawns.Im not very easy to please, but Exceptional service. Anyone visiting Grand Baie i highly recommend that you stop at this place, real value for money!!!
