Staying over in town, searched this restaurant out and a great choice. Run by a lovely Nepalese family and great home style cooking to suit.Meal was cooked and tasted perfectly and the service from the young lady was immaculate.Very pleasant evening and recommended.

Visited on 9th October with a group of friends. Another amazing meal as always! None of us could fault anything! From the moment we entered we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well by the young waiter. We were asked several times if we were enjoying our meals and were spoken to and thanked personally by the manager before we left. Iâm sure I can speak for everybody when I say that we were all extremely happy with the quality of our meals and the level of service that we received. Thanks go to all the staff for a great evening!

Hadn't been to the Chilli Lodge for a while (no reason just busy with life) and then we wonder why not because the food is sooo delicious and the staff so friendly.We really enjoyed the mixed kebab starters and onion bhajis and the main courses we chose were all delicious as was peshwari naan (my favourite).Good value too. We have visited chilli restaurant several times and always enjoyed the food and experience. The restaurant has a large menu with traditional Indian choices along with unusual choices. The restaurant also has Indian tapas as an option which is a great idea to try new dishes. Food is of excellent quality and portion size large. I would highly recommend chilli to family and friends for somewhere to eat.

Went for another visit, this time with grandson Sam. Everything was excellent even though it was the hottest August day ever. We had starters of lamb seekh kebab(2of us) and mutton tikka. Main courses were chicken tikka dhansak, chicken tikka Ceylon and lamb curry. We also had rice and roti. All excellent with good service from Rebecca. Marvelous!Thank you for your review and feedback, itâs always a pleasure serving you and your beautiful wife and we had the added bonus of the lovely Sam, My goodness what a scorcher it was and we had the cricket yesterday, our local team Higham and the England at the Ashes well done to all. Glad you enjoyed your evening with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon

Never had a bad meal from the Royal Spice and I've been attending for over 10 years!Staff are lovely, especially manager Zaff. Can't do enough for their customers.Always our first choice for meals out - can't recommend enough!

Having had a recommendation from a colleague and having had an amazing meal on our first visit, we returned tonight for a meal with my daughter. We were greeted like old friends and had a fantastic meal again. The fish pakora's are to die for and the specials are superb. We'll worth the 5 hour drive from Kingston to enjoy great food, 5 star service and a the company of a superb team of people that make the Dil Raj a special place.We will be back very soon

Haven't been here in years but we were surprised by the quality of the food. The onion bhajis were really fresh and are huge. More vegetarian choices than some curry houses I've been to recently. I loved the vegetable tikka Jaipur and brought leftovers home for tea. We'll be back!
