It is also the headquarters of the Cuttack district. The name of the city is an anglicised form of Katak which literally means The Fort, a reference to the ancient Barabati Fort around which the city initially developed. Cuttack is also known as the Sudama City as well as the Sudama City due to its history of 1000 years and famous silver filigree works. It is also considered as the judicial capital of Odisha as the Odisha High Court is located here. The people who have appreciated the briyani would have never tasted a good briyani... or may not have travelled away from Cuttack. This restaurant is average one with poor ambience and very worst service. I will never recommend this kind of restaurant for any good food lover. The food ordered was cold and the chicken pieces were BIG and UNCUT sizes which cant be eaten. The management has to take a call and visit some good restaurants to taste the good food delicacies, Also need to train the staff

I try to find out the restaurant through google map but the location is fake some one pickup the call but he also cut the phone with out helping me i come from kolkata i had see some good reviews about it but my experience is horrible if you don't maintain the your digital marketing don't put your organization in it i am working as a operation manager in ITC hotels i will never recommend this type of unprofessional fake restaurant

I had been there so many times since 1998. The place, the food , ambiance, staffs, just awesome, Chicken soup and tandoori - best in city and the best thing is you can get food till 11 pm in the night.Well connected and food quality is also very good.You can choose this hotel any time any day....

Very good authentic north Indian restaurant in Cuttack. Wide range of delicious dishes. The crab meat was amazing. So was the kadai paneer. You have to order a day in advance for speciality dishes like Mutton Raan. Service could have been better. We were early in the afternoon and the tables were unoccupied. But the servers standing in a corner chit chatting with the constant flurry of people by our table was distracting. Good Evening and greetings from MOTI MAHAL Cuttack. Thank you for appreciating our food. Yes we have been striving to deliver the best North Indian cuisines at Cuttack, and it's become possible because our Chefs are from North India. Having said that, we do take cognizance of your feedback. As you correctly pointed out, stewards standing and talking to each other does become very very disturbing. This is a hotel and the restaurant is part of it. I did not stay here but visited the restaurant twice once for lunch and had break fast another time.Lunch options are limited to Gujarati thali for which you have to take token in advance. Rate is reasonable and the food is average.They offer varieties for break fast including south Indian. I liked the break fast. Ambiance is average, staff helpful parking is limited and across the road.

Pros : Great Location with enough parking place, Ambiance, Taste of Food, Table placement, Friendly Staff attitude and approach, Cleanliness, Variety, Quick Service.Cons : Nothing specific lacking found. I am a regular customer here. And I've never been disappointed with the service provided at Pramod. The food at courtyard is delicious and there is always something new on the menu. Not only the food but the infrastructure and ambience is beautiful. The staff is really good, especially Mr. Premanand. He has always been at service with a big smile and has always made sure that the needs of the customers are being fulfilled.
