Sams Indian Buffet and Bar is a Restaurant based on 17 High Street in Cheshunt. We serve a wide range of delicious Indian food and offer table booking.
Just poop in for a quick meal after work and was told next door or Dams was buffet night and really nice too, good food and good service. It still amazes me though how Indian restaurants doing buffet food still get you to buy popadoms.

We were a party of six and was looking forward to coming here again to eat some really good indian dishes and once again,we were not disappointed. On arrival,we was warmly welcomed and shown to a nice comfortable table which gave plenty of room for us all. This time, I chose the Achari lamb dish which is pieces of lamb cooked with hot pickles and it was really good and not to much heat. We all chose different dishes from the large menu and there was no complaints from anyone.

Trawling through TripAdvisor we came upon this little golden nugget of Indian culinary excellence. On arrival you fear the worst. The local Chingford crowd are friendly enough but seemed slightly surprised that we'd bother to "dress up" (I was wearing trousers rather than jeans and a graphic "T") and there was a level of gawking usually only reserved for clicky country pubs.Anyhoo, the restaurant staff were ultra-friendly. They complimented my wife on her choice of dress and they whisked us through the staring diners to a comfortable table midway through the somewhat regimented layout. Endless waves of smiling, helpful waiters (I counted 6, including the owner) popped up at out table offering menus and drinks and at least two of them merely attended our table to enquire as to our general wellbeing. The menu is quite long with an almost endless array of dishes all sensibly priced (in fact, they seemed worryingly cheap). However, I needn't have worried at all as the food at Voujon is beautifully presented and very, very tasty.Delicately prepared rices, wonderful fresh, fluffy naan breads and generous mains made from good quality staples of chicken and lamb all amounted to a sumptuous feast. Never stodgy, never over-spiced and with a wonderful attention to detail. There are nostalgic twists like the laminated desert menus featuring the deserts of yesteryear (not sure if these are intended to be so but they were great fun nonetheless). Wine list is basic and could probably do with a revamp but you don't go to an Indian restaurant for the wine as the curries knock-out the palate and Kingfisher and Cobra are usually the best route to take.As we wound down and stroked our bellies our waiter (Aran) introduced himself formally and presented my wife with a box of Maltesers - nice touch! In all, an authentic local curry-house experience - almost a throwback to the 70s and 80s but with good modern-day service levels and truly lovely food.

Visited Cheshunt Tandoori, had a lovely meal, very good staff and Indian food.Although a smallish place, very good close atmosphere can be created. Waiters very polite and only to pleased to help. I had a Lamb Balti, my friend had Chicken Tikka Masala, both dishes were well received and offered any short on the house. Will go again.

Went there on the 31st of July 2019 to try the food from their new chef. Food was amazing before and is even better now. Lots of new items to try and from the samplers we tried they were all fantastic. Hospitality is second to none and I cant wait to go back again. I also have to drive 9 miles to get here and it's worth it every time.

Home to our National Award winning chef and established for over 14 years
A friend recommended here as he knew we liked good Indian food. The staff were very friendly showing us to the table where our friends were already seated. The menu wasn't enormous, for us a good sign and there were numerous dishes that we hadn't heard of before. We asked the waiter for advice on which dishes we should choose, I personally like my curries hot, not only hot but tasty, not just burning hot. The waiter's advice was perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals but even so there was just too much to completely empty our plates
