Food was okay. Atmosphere was nice and we didnât have to wait too long for our food either. Serving size was good too. Just a standard Indian.

A friend recommended here as he knew we liked good Indian food. The staff were very friendly showing us to the table where our friends were already seated. The menu wasn't enormous, for us a good sign and there were numerous dishes that we hadn't heard of before. We asked the waiter for advice on which dishes we should choose, I personally like my curries hot, not only hot but tasty, not just burning hot. The waiter's advice was perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals but even so there was just too much to completely empty our plates

Upon arrival for dinner I found just two other diners, finishing their meal. The gentlemen providing service was somewhat idiosyncratic and largely immune to considering the comfort of his customers. In addition to appearing hard of hearing, he had a disconcerting habit of pacing back and forth in front of my table incessantly. The food was mediocre and the speed of delivery slow considering there were no other meals to prepare. I shan't be returning.

Just had possibly the nicest Indian meal Iâve had in the UK for years. The service is always friendly and efficient. The guys have that on point. But the food tonight was fantastic. From the starters, the mains and sides, there was absolutely nothing you could criticise.Iâve taken the view that rather than ordering my curry off the menu, Iâll just specific what meat, whether I want a sauce or dry and how hot, and let the chef work his magic. Tonightâs I think was a chicken Handi, which was just awesome.Itâs always nice when youâre looking forward to a meal, and when you actually get it, it exceeds your expectations..Thanks for your lovely comments

Our go-to place for a takeaway curry but just as nice to eat in the restaurant too. Staff are so welcoming, the food is top quality - highly recommend the Chicken Bhuna and onion bhajis

Staff rude and unfriendly. Not taking orders on time and when starters finally arrived clearing tables was a chore. Water comes after starters. All that could have been somewhat acceptable had it not been for bland curry that was from previous day and most likely microwaved.Trust me I am not comparing with any Michelin star restaurant here but theyâve taken low standard to a whole different level.

I wasn't too sure what to expect, I was purely going on the reviews. Well, we weren't disappointed! The place is well decorated and clean. Waiters, tables etc immaculately presented. Polished, polite and attentive even amusing at times. The meal were absolutely fantastic. Chickpea meal had a lovely kick to it. Chicken balti was great. Samosa were a bit dry and needed a kick to it. I suppose that's what the sauces are for. All in all well done Saffron, will certainly recommend you guys!
