It appears the restaurant owner is an arrogant unsocial and a pushy person who believes in extracting money rather respecting the customer. Décor is no doubt good but behaviour of the staff is miserable. Food quality is ordinary and quantity is less. Plates are worn out with scuffmarks. But napkins are clean. The price of the food items is also not low.My suggestion is that the owners should visit a few good restaurants and learn how to behave with customers. Staff is pushy to ask you to order that you may even not like to eat. Credit card machine does not work appears to be an excuse.

Curries are 12.90 and include a whole container of delicious saffron rice. When other restaurants in Melbourne charge $20+ for one dish, and extra for rice, this place is a clear winner value wise.If that's not enough the food is exceptional and the meat content is generous, unlike the trend in Melbourne to give you 1 or 2 small pieces of meat in a entire main curry dish.Keep up the good work Maharani, I will definitely be back!

We went there with another family on a Saturday night. We did pre booking for seat. The ambiance is great. We had garlic and butter nan, Lamb , beef dishes and finally the much hyped Kulfi. All the food were really good, except the almond kulfi i ordered. After tasting normal kulfi, i regret ordering special Almond coffe kulfi. Another thing that i didn't notice (they didn't warn at the time of booking or even after the first food is served) is that minimum per head $30 to be spend, including for kids. Since we were 8 people, we had to take some take away food to meet this amount.Other than that, the food is good, there is parking in front street and you are lucky to get a parking place.

We're local and love having this close by. We have lots of family birthdays here - the kids love the food. The staff are really friendly and helpful, even when it gets really busy. Good serving sizes and very tasty - keeps everyone happy. Been coming here for years, and we've had a great experience every time. Recommended.

We celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Roti Boti and couldn't have asked for a better evening. Our table service was 5 Star, with our waiters giving us a wonderful dining experience. The food was magnificent and the recommendations were spot on. Don't think about it, GO!!!!

Indian Palace is well known for high-quality food and service. When it comes to the World of tasty food, none could ever outclass us. The exceptional flavors of our menu will delight and inspire, as only the finest and freshest ingredients are used.
Just a few seconds from the train station this popular Indian restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food is traditional Indian and the servings are generous and full of flavour. The drinks prices are slightly in the high side but you are in Brighton. The service though is the ratings winner here. Very attentive and courteous. They did get one order slightly mixed up (we got a plain naan, not the butter naan that we ordered) but we didnât feel the need to complain. It still tasted great. Judging from the crowds and the amount of Uber eats being picked up this is a good place to try out sometime.

Very disappointing place. And pathetic service. The waitress did not greet us and did not smile once during our entire meal. She asked us what wine we wanted and when we told her she rolled her eyes. The wine was good so we complimented it and even then she did not even thank us. While serving us she was loudly talking over the table to the other waitress. The food had no salt in it. We asked for it to be spicy and everything was bland. I requested for the nan to be crispy, but they served it super soft and chewy. I requested another on and same problem again, I couldn't bother asking for another one so I had to tell her it was fine. We asked for onions and lemon with our curries, firstly it came late and there wasnt any lemon in it. I had to ask for it and it came after half the meal was over. And we got charged 5dollars for it, which is a generally a free thing in most Indian restaurants. Overall a pathetic place, definitely won't go back ever again.

Really happy to have a terrific Indian restaurant near us! Comfortable little place with friendly, efficient service. We played it straight with butter chicken and beef vindaloo, both excellent. The new samosa covered in chick pea mix entree was superb! We took a bottle of wine ($6 corkage) but a nice little wine list available. Modest $80 for two mains and entrees. Rice and butter naan included with mains. Highly recommended. Maybe 4 1/2 stars but I can walk there so....
