Been using the Mohan for takeaways now for a number of years now and never had a bad meal, with the service always excellent. Last night they surpassed themselves, I accidentally paid twice for my meal,paying online, forgetting and also paying the driver. They promptly rang me that evening to inform me of my mistake and returned the extra payment the following day, thank you for your excellent service and honesty I will happily continue to use and recommend your business.

Wow I ordered classic butter chicken, the dish had a great amount of chicken and twice the sauce most takeaways include perfect for dipping my naan. The mushroom rice was lovely too. Iâm just gutted that itâs only just opened and I move in a few weeks

After living in Witney for several years, I recently ate here for the first time; I wish I had gone sooner! Really delicious dishes, good side portions and overall a friendly and cosy environment. Good value and I will definitely be eating here again.

Excellent food, reasonable prices and mostly friendly and efficient service..... but......a place where large groups of males (Lager and Vindaloo) are encouraged. One group was very large, young and very noisy, shouting swearing etc. No attempt by management or staff to calm/quiet them down. So if you want a quiet evening, family/couple etc do not go here!

We booked lunch for nine, including two young children and a dog: âNo problem!â We ended up arriving at different times (London traffic!): âNo problem!â Thereâs a satisfyingly unpretentious lunch menu, with separate veggie, vegan and kidsâ menus (Not âoptionsâ; complete menus.); good selection of beers and gins too. I canât praise this place and the friendly staff too highly. Hope to go back! (Takeaway menu too, for anyone self-catering in the area.)

Had a meal at the spice lounge on our recent trip to Burford and we were not disappointed.The restaurant was extremely clean, a great welcome and efficient friendly service. The meal was well presented, tasty and not either too slow or too rushed, the drinks were good and we had a jug of water for the table that arrived almost as soon as we sat down.The menu was not too big although the variety on offer more than adequate and the prices about average for the area, all in all a great meal and we would surely visit again if we ever end up back in Burford!!!Dear Alex RThank you for leaving a lovely review.We are pleased that you had an enjoyable evening with us. I visited this restaurant whilst on business at Carterton with my colleague. I had popedoms then a tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice the food was average and the guy serving wasn't the most pleasant of people would not recommend and will not return in the future food is bland and costs are high.

Had takeaway. Lamb in the rogan josh was tough and chicken in the jalfrezi was tasteless reformed strips only slightly resembling chicken as well as the sauce being nearly cold. Really disappointed and embarrassed as I had friends over for the evening. Always considered this as the best Indian in Witney but the standard has suddenly dropped. New chef? Cheaper supplies? Who knows. I will NOT be returning.
