I have been going back to this place many times in the last 10-.15 years and I all the time get great food. The outlook has been improving year by year. Maybe the staff may smile a little bit more... :-)I have taken there foreign friends and colleagues and all of them loved the experience what Boglya and the surrounding meant. We frequently visit this place with the family, only 2 of us, with friends and also for business. The last time I had a headache and the waiter was so kind to bring a painkiller for me. So they strive to keep you well in all hospitality senses.

Once youâre in a small town far from the big city in certain countries it means uncertainty in food quality. Unless youâre lucky and the people in that town are devoted in making great food, just like here! With a brick Owen they have amazing pizza and meats backed in the Owen as well. It is a unique experience at an unlikely spot. This seems to be a trend in Hungary that local restaurants are providing gourmet experience!Definitely worth a visit! Great food and good service!

Gemeskut is located about 50 km South of Budapest, just off of highway M7, overlooking Lake Velence, one of the favorite destinations of locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is simply furnished: modern, simple furniture, not tablecloths, and an unpretentious decor. The food is comfort food, with lots of fried choices: sausages, breaded cutlets, fried fish, chips and a few salads and soups. A full bar, backed by an excellent selection of wines and beers complements the selections. The restaurant is frequently the favored venue for special events, such as weddings, receptions, etc.

Milestone Restaurant is right at the M7 highway. At the exit there is a gas station and the Restaurant. It was about an hour after noon when we stopped on a hot day of August. As we mentioned we were on hurry we ordered some french fries and burgers, drinks and we were done in not more than 30 minutes.Kind crew, fast service, absolutely recomended.

Well weâ ve chosen this restaurant because I found it on tripadvisor but it was only 1 review that proved its first place of all around this area. Basically I just wanna write a short but meaningful review. Very bad service ( you feel like they dont want you there and they do a favour by serving you) but fabulous and tasty food, they said we had to wait a lot for the food but it wasnt more 25 minutes... eventually I recommend mend this place to try...not so expensive...

Walzer Restaurant and Guesthouse is situated in the town of Velence, about 45 km from Budapest, very close to highway M7 and Lake Velence (which is on the other side of the highway). It is easily accessible by car, all the other means are in quite a distance (bus stop is approx. 200 metres, Velence railway station is 4 km away).Therefore, it has a parking lot. There's also a nice garden with a pool, a sizeable terrace and a row of cabins with tables to dine outside in the summer time.The place is not wheelchair-friendly as stairs lead to the entrance and all the rooms are upstairs. Also, the rooms (at least those I have been to) aren't too spacious. I missed the proper air conditioning very much, as there was only a standing fan in the room, fixed on a shelf in the corner with screws. That wasn't really effective during the night. Our room and generally the place was neat and tidy.We went there for a wedding and spent one night in the guesthouse. It was obvious that the management is experienced in hosting weddings. They easily cooperated with the other services (e.g. decorateur, florist, cake maker...), so their contribution was an asset to have the event going smoothly. On the day/night of the wedding only the invited guests were in the guesthouse (otherwise it could have been disturbing that due to the shape of the building some rooms opened to the same terrace). Due to the special occasion, the place was 'open' way after midnight (generally they close the entrance at 2300 hrs).Service was fine as far as the meals were concerned. However, it happened regularily that we had to ask for water, juices and spirits (those drinks which were stocked for this very occasion).We were served a traditional Hungarian wedding menu and everything (from the chicken soup to the stuffed cabbage at midnight) was delicious. Next day, after the wedding, a buffet type breakfast was served with simple items (this was part of the wedding package, because usually breakfast is a la carte and is not included in the price).The place is kid and baby friendly, and accepts bank cards and Hungarian holiday cards.All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

Been in this place a few times and I always a good time there. You can enjoy good Hungarian food. Decent portions and good service. I will go back for sure.

It is a very nice restaurant. It is located in Velence, has an amazing view to the lake.The prices are fine , and the disges are very good. The staff is nice amd they do their job in a very professional way.Worth a visit!

We visited the restaurant together with my wife near to highway M7 close to the Lake Velence. I heard previously that they make one of the best hamburger mostly using their own home made stuff. So we tried and we were happy. So delicious and nice so definiately highly suggest to try.
