Obviously not designed for tourists, but that's not meant to be negative. The menu offers typical Hungarian cuisine at very good prices. The beer tastes good and the waiter could speak some german and was very nice. There is also a (one ) translation of the menu into German.

We had a very good lunch here on the front enclosed terrace on a cool September afternoon. The restaurant inside looked very comfortable also. The Goulash was very good. Service us a bit uneven with one waiter being rather unfriendly. The menu is quite extensive. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Albeit arriving about 2, the kitchen prepared grilled turkey breast with spiced butter, Greek salad and chips. Three slices of turkey were tasty, particularly with the butter. The chips were shoestring fries and the salad a mix of zucchini cubes, tomato pieces and goat cheese. The cheese deserved a note: it was creamy and most, unlike the Feta I'd usually eaten.
You will find this rural style restaurant (called "csárda") at the end of a beautiful and serene nowhere - as we like to describe the picturesque Albertkázmérpuszta - the small village in Várbalog county, Hungary. It is located just at the Hungarian-Austrian borderline (only 4 km from the baroque jewel Halbturn Palace in Burgerland, Austria). It is the perfect place for a refreshing stop during a bike trip or even the final destination of your rural adventure. They cook here typical Hungarian dishes, all home-made. The offer is simple but very authentic - and tasty. The menu is usually presented in person by the owners: they serve you just what they have handy and fresh cooked that day (depends on season): goulash, beef or chicken stews with dumplings, mostly meat dishes such as backed pork or goose from the traditional brick&mortar kiln. A sweet must at the end is the home-made pancake / palacsinta with marmalade & chocolate. In nice weather you can sit outside in the garden. In autumn season inside the house. The place offers also two simply rooms for a short stay if you like to enjoy more time here and explore the surroundings (the local votive church is also worth a short sightseeing round). The lovely host couple will stop by at your table for a small chat and a hearty laugh. They truly care about your wellbeing {and full tummy} but do not pretend what they are not: this is not a place where you should expect the five-star service but the hospitality is truly lived here. The atmosphere feels like the time had stopped here. It will drawn you into old times - with reminiscences of Austrian-Hungarian monarchy. A perfect spot if you need to chill down for a slow-paced moment. Honestly, we just love to visit this place. Since we discovered it a few years ago, we haven't missed a season to stop by and say hello. It tastes and feels like a visit at my Hungarian grandparents. Kázmer Csárda is therefore like a well-hidden family gem and stays right there where we will keep it - in the middle of our hearts. :-)

I've been several times to the Korsó during my stay in Mosonmagyarovár and I took every time the same, which was the daily menu "B" . First there comes a pumpkin soup with, main dish is a pumpkin risotto with fish and for desert there came a delicious homemade cake. The first times I went the desert was a different tart, which was also good, but the last two times I went they served a different cake which was outstanding, much better than the cakes I've had so for in the local coffeshops ! This whole menu costs 9,80 Euros which I feel is a very good cost-benefit relation ! I will come back !

While the actual fish soup (halaszle) is half decent, they have Bible-thick menu so impossible to have freshly prepared, and bad stale white bread (not artisan or even fresh). Such basic things can ruin a lot of eating experience.

We have just returned from our second time to this restaurant. Both times we were delighted with the food and service. The price was very reasonable and therefore a bonus. Would recommend without hesitation to all.

the portions were massive but the quality was poor, I started with Fried camembert cheese filled with cranberries, fresh salad with raspberry vinegar, with mashed potatoes, it was massive but the raspberry vinaigrette alas was missing, it proved tasteless and 90% was left on the plate, my wife had a garlic soup that was ok, we followed with Rump steak ‘Budapest’ style, with steak potatoes, (steak potatoes are apparently frozen chips) and Fillet of pork with sage, tagliatelle with creamy chanterelle, plenty of pork and a mountain of pasta but both poor. a lot lee food and better quality would have hit the mark better, wouldn't return or recommend-there are so many better places to eat in Mosonmagyarovar. Cost was very low but not worth the calories.

We’re cycling along the Danube route from Vienna to Budapest and had an overnight stop in Mosenmagyarovar. Arrived at Graben about 9pm on very quiet Tuesday night. Wow the food was excellent. Salmon with perfectly crispy skin and a pink duck breast with pear. Gorgeous and excellent value.

The food was ok, not great. They did not accept credit cars but said they would take euro. The exchange rate I got was very poor but I expected that. What bugged me the most was when the bill came to 40 euro and 3 cents the waiter insisted on the 3 centièmes which I didn't have. I found a 100 forient coin which he accepted but any other place I have been they would have said, "fine, don't worry about it."
