telephone number: +36 99/340 256 Excellent hungarian cuisine, very extensive menu, super service. We saw Austrians who had obviously driven over the border to eat lunch there. My partner had the ganseleber (foie gras) which is often over-cooked in Hunga
Lonely Planet recommends this place as a âcosy cellarâ. The building is certainly old, but over-renovation and furniture choices have removed whatever atmosphere it might have once had. The modern chairs and overall decoration make it cold and uninviting. Also, radio was playing through the sound system very loudly. Paprika veal was served quickly but nothing to write home about. If youâre after a meal in a cosy atmospheric setting in Sopron, try Puskás (Várkerület 83) or Stubi (Balfi utca 16) instead (reviews of both forthcoming).

Tercia is nicely situated on the top of a hill in a traditional setting. Looks like a hunting lodge, the wooden structure dominates, large spaces and stuffed wild boars in the entrée. The menu is a traditional hungarian list of goodies, we had the cabbage-beans-pork knuckle soup which was a huge portion for a good price.Recommending their Zenit wine, fresh, crispy and floral taste. After the dinner you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy your drink or go for a walk in the park around it.Definitely coming back!

Just an 8 km drive from Sopron, Hungary
Ráspi is a guesthouse who has also an ettérem (restaurant). I was fortunate to enjoy a stay as well as experience dinner and breakfast. My dinner includes foie gras, wild garlic/asparagus soup, tender beef cheek (oh my!!), makos (poppy seeds) wrapped in pilos (oh my oh my x10!!). Wine pairing was amazing. See pictures. The owner Josef may look like a tough guy but he is a very down-to-earth guy. He showed me his cellar in the basement and the next morning he took me to his vineyards. He believes in organic farming and winemaking. I truly believe in his passion and conviction in organic agriculture. I would not hesitate to return here when I am in the area again. Because the restaurant area is small, we met other guest during the dinner and the breakfast next morning. Easy to get acquainted with his family and guest in his father's farm house converted guest house. Loved the stay and dining. Recommend everyone to visit and stay here.

Hunting Horn Guest-house Our inn offers well-equipped, carefully furnished and spacious rooms and is located in the green belt environment of Sopron, but it is also close to the centre of the town. Huge selection of wines. We would like to recommend our w
We went to eat for the reviews and did not disappoint. They have treated us very well, the food dishes, particularly those made with goose liver, the variety of wines they gave us and the treatment are unbeatable. The food well presented, plentiful and with an excellent flavor mix. We have found ourselves at home and the owner with his explanations has been very helpful. Congratulations for the great work for so many years.Dear Guest, thank you very much for your stay and for taking your pressures time to write your kind comments. We would be delighted to welcome you back again.Best wishes and regards,Gyula Bausz

We visited the place for dinner. The menu didn't offer a very big variety but overall everyone could find a decent choice. The food was excellent and the waiter really nice. The wine was good, too.
Minden alkalommal elmegyünk a családdal, ha Sopronban járunk. A legfinomabb hekket itt kÃnálják. Ãrdemes fokhagymás piritóssal kérni. BÅséges az italválaszték és rendkÃvül kedves a kiszolgálás. Köszönjük a vendéglátást! Jövünk még!

Nice interior, polite owner, a lot of meal to eat, good wines, soups. My pasta named "túrós csusza" wasn't too warm :( Rent a bike possibilities - but most of bikes are old.

5min out of the city center, but worth the walk. We had excellent local food on a nice terrasse. It is just a pity that they serve Heineken and not a local beer, but we were so thurtsty that it made the job!

Within the Hotel there is a 350-seat Restaurant with a winter garden, banquet room and terrace. Our menu carries the best in local dishes and International cuisine- each week there are new specials that are suited to each season and special holidays.
Sunday before lunchtime (around 11am) we went for breakfast and asked if there is still a possibity to sit down for an omelette. In the entrance they said yes but inside when we sit down to order the main waiter started to laugh and said that "breakfast should be breakfast time, now you can lunch as its lunchtime". Bahh we stood up and left without saying hello.
