Visit our Mediterranean restaurant next to the historical Buda Castle, where we offer for our guests beside the traditional Italian and Hungarian dishes special and a wide range of risottos and oven-baked pizza too. The interior and exterior appearance of
We finished visiting the Buda castle area and we walked down the hill and started looking for a good restaurant. We found the Riso but we had to walk back up the hill but honestly it was worth it. The restaurant was busy so if you want to eat in the terrace I would recommend getting a reservation. Friendly staff and lots on the menu to choose from. My wife had the fried goat cheese salad which also had walnuts in it- very tasty. I had the veal rice dish with cabbage salad. Again it was flavourful, good portion and the cabbage salad was very interesting and and had a nice crunch.Overall a great lunch.Dear Our guest!Thank you for your feedback, we look forward to your next visit!Best regards,Riso Ristorante managment

Fioka is a restaurant which caters late evening wines, friendly beers, and family roasts. Selected wines from the Carpathian-basin, from the quality local wines to premium, gamy, sweet and saltwater fish, duck, chicken and vension. All this is in the well
Cosy place with surprisingly modern and delicious courses. I strongly advise it to anyone who visits Budapest. The beef tartare is a has to from the menu.

We stayed in Budakeszi with the sister of our friends for a couple of nights and visited a couple of restaurants. This was the first and there were three of us with mixed tastes. Mainly Italian menu. I had the gnocci with riccotta and spinach which I really enjoyed. It was well served and really hot with lots of bubbly cheese. I had ordered a mixed salad anticipating we would share it but I ended up eating it all myself. It was one of the best, and largest, salads I have had with a lovely mixture of really fresh and crispy veg and herbs. My wife was not as fortunate as she ordered the carbonara which was, let's say, not what we expected .The atmosphere is lovely and although I did not eat desert myself the other two in our party both did and my wife who is an afficianado of deserts said it was "to die for". I tasted both deserts and they were, indeed, very very good. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and although the carbonara was perhaps not the best choice I rated the food 4 stars as two from the three mains were excellent as were both desserts. The menu is very reasonably priced and if you like mainly Italian food it's a very convivial place Budakeszi is quite a lovely place to visit with lots of interesting parks and woodland walks.

Why I love Jardinette? First, it's truly a garden-restaurant. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're at home. It's a place where the large chestnut trees offer you shade in the hottest of summer days and where you can dine in the winter garden when it
I placed a reservation through your website at around 8:30pm. The options for the time was either at 10pm or 10:30pm. So I chose 10pm. They sent me a confirmation that my reservation was confirmed. As I entered the restaurant at 10:00pm, the Manager told me "Kitchen Closed". I explained to him that I have booked and that on their website it shows kitchen Closes at 10:30pm and restaurant closes at 11pm. For us it was a huge problem since in that area there are no other restaurants. We had to order take out food. Dear Guest, thank you for giving us a feedback, we take all reviews very seriously. I am sorry you had a bad experience concerning our electronic booking system. I understand you were frustrated when we informed you our kitchen was closed. Certainly we are on one hand correcting this mistake on our booking system. On the other I would like to offer you a voucher for next time you would visit Jardinette. I hope you give us a second chance :-) Please contact me directly: +36203796895 . Zoltan Kalman, owner of Jardinette

Our favourite place to eat in Budakeszi! Cosy place with great stuff. After a few dinners there, the waiters recognized us and they knew exactly our drinks before we asked for them. Every single meal is freshly cooked, hot and had fantastic taste. You cannot go wrong with anything. They have poultry, beef, pork dishes and great salads. Weekly they have a selection of food on a separate sheet of paper. Try the garlic soup with cheese served in bread! It is fantastic. Local feeling, hommade dishes and English menu.

This is a wine restaurant that belongs to a winery in Villany, called Bock. I was expecting great wine experience on an affordable price. The food was tasty, but not extra, the wines were well selected, but highly overpriced. Specially their own wines are extremely expensive. I hope they will reconsider their mission!Dear domonkose,Thank you for your review. We are very sad to read that you weren't fully satisfied with our food and wine selection. Can you please detail what did you have for dinner? All the best: team KisBÃró

Friendly and professional personal, excellent tastes!
We visited this place today, despite the parking area was full, only few tables were occupied. Staff was nice, but they were not qualified waiters. Meals were fresh and tasty, dessert was small but good and the coffee was excellent. From tomorrow they will have a new menu, so there were only few meals. I will go back for sure. Recommended. Dear silangel1!Thank you for your review! Indeed, we try to use fresh and seasonal ingredients, so we refresh our menu every 2-3 moths. The next menu is due from 24th of January. We hope to see you soon.

This is a must to get authentic taste of Budapest! The food platters were assorted very tasty local favorites - the wine flowed and the music and dancing at dinner was lots of fun. Gypsy music and dancing is a dying art and this place is doing its part to keep it alive with energetic young dancers and a gypsy band that played the great hits! When my group got there it was not crowded and we were seated at a table directly in front of the stage. Within a few minutes the place packed up. There is a BIG difference in your experience if you sit in front of the stage vs sitting towards the back of the room - it is an entirely different vibe being in the back - and one that is lacking. If you go you will see what I mean. In the front you have the energy and excitement but towards the rear of the room you can see the action but you are definitely not feeling part of it. If you're making the trip here - be up front!

Great local bar. Real Hungarian food. Nice stuff. A lot of local people are eating here, which is making the place much more Sympathic. Totally to recommend are the soups, letscho, the gulash and the desert is a must. All cards are accepted!
