The Crescent Turner, Whitstable, is a stylish, 18-bedroom boutique hotel, set high up on Wraik Hill, overlooking the Kent coast. It has panoramic views of the sea and gorgeous surrounding countryside. Whitstable is a family-orientated but fashionable seaside town - famous for its beach huts, Oyster Festival and quaint harbour. There are quirky, independent shops and galleries, Whitstable Castle and an increasingly popular arts festival - the Whitstable Biennale. The Crescent Turner has individually designed bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, terrace area, gardens and superb view over the estuary and whitstable. Head down to Whitstable for a family break or a romantic getaway. You'll love the subtle decor of this newly remodelled boutique hotel - less than two hours from central London. Of course, the beach is a major feature in summer, but Whitstable is busy and interesting all-year round, and there are wonderful walks in the Kent countryside and other pretty towns and villages to visit while you are here. The Crescent Turner Hotel
We stayed here for one night, booking 3 rooms to celebrate my dads 70th! The hotel was perfect, comfortable clean rooms, lovely views and a huge grass area for children to run around. What made this hotel stand out from the rest was the staff service. From a friendly welcoming lady on reception to the lady who I believe was the owner/ manager! The waiters/ waitresses were fantastic, nothing was too much bother and all very natural. Food was beautiful in the evening and breakfast was perfect! We had a small query with one of the rooms, the staff resolved it in a way which was over and above our expectations. A perfect night away! We will definitely go back Thank you

Visited with my 6 year old daughter for a short stay. Good hotel. Nice, clean rooms. Quiet and close to sea. Good food. Real high point is the staff who were all lovely and very helpful. Short walk along the beach into Whitstable, which is lovely.

Life's a beach at Premier Inn Hotel Whitstable. You'll be well placed to explore all the charms of this traditional seaside resort, from its quirky shops and galleries to its working harbour. And if you're here to work, we're close to key destinations like Joseph Wilson Industrial Estate too. Escape the office and sample fresh seafood and local produce at Whitstable harbour. Storm the walls at the castle, or stroll down the beach. Or head inland and discover the spirit of Canterbury at the Cathedral. After a busy day, relax in our tasty restaurant and unwind in your new, modern room with extra-comfy kingsize Hypnos bed.
As Premier Inn's go this one is pretty standard - good, clean accommodation, free parking, friendly staff, comfy beds. The hotel location is good - next to a small retail park and a pub, about 20-30 minutes walk to the town centre (Beware the uphill walk on the return journey!) The only issue we had was that our room was next to the stairs so each night was a constant army of people stomping about. Not the hotel's fault, it just depends which room you get.

The Hotel Continental is the only hotel in Whitstable that enjoys a seafront location within 5 mins walk of the centre of the town. We also manage the very popular Fisherman's Huts accommodation.
Firstly, the staff at the hotel are all very polite and helpful. The staff in both the restaurant and reception were always so lovely and approachable. The room we booked was a deluxe double with sea view and the sea view definitely didn't dissapoint. The bathroom was large and clean with a heated towel rail. We had breakfast in the hotel both mornings and the food is of a very good standard. The only negatives for this hotel are firstly the lack of a lift to get up to the second floor and secondly while the sea view is lovely, the room only has the option of wooden shutters so anyone on the beach may be able to see you. Also the room got quite warm in the night and this is problematic in the summer months as if you leave the shutter open you are woken up rather early by the sunlight. If there were maybe sheer nets installed this may offer a sense of privacy to the guest.

We are just back from four nights at Hillside and we had a great time. Not least our ten month old puppy Teddy who was made very welcome on arrival with some treats in the room. He had the run of the gardens and played really well with the other dogs there. It has really helped meeting different dogs (& their owners) We had breakfast three times and they were excellent, plenty of tea and fresh toast. Jane and Sharon were great hosts!! Thank you we will be back!

These Fisherman's Huts have been tastefully converted to provide a variety of overnight accommodation, most with sea views, in a very central location
We stayed here for a couple of nights mid-week in February. Beforehand we were concerned it might be cold but the Anderson Shed in which we stayed had an excellent central heating system. It was also well furnished with comfortable beds, massive shower, and full kitchen facilities. I particularly liked the parking space immediately next door (which must be worth its weight in gold in the summer) and the view from the upstairs bay window. Often accommodation and hotels don’t live up to their website hype but in this case the opposite is true. The website could do more to promote how good the place was and do more to explain how fully kitted out the kitchen was. But remember it’s self catering so don’t forget the hairdryer!

Just stayed in the warehouse ‘cottages’. These were lovely en-suite rooms - but no kitchen and no communal areas to socialise, just tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Again, just like a hotel room! The balcony was very small with two ridiculous splayed out chairs. There were four of us and no real area to sit together. Lack of information about the accommodation- we found deck chairs on the day we left. Good location but shouldn’t be advertised as a cottage - they’re hotel rooms without any of the hotel benefits. In fact, the questions following this part of the review all relate to The Hotel!
