For example, the front end personnel were very nice, but a surcharge was placed on the hotel room without my knowledge or any fine print stating this would happen (which totally messed up my budgeting). The foyer was absolutely gorgeous, but the rooms were just okay: street noise totally came in to the room and where the bathroom was placed in the room, you could hear EVERYTHING--really, every bodily sound (lol). The eating area was spacious, however breakfast was supposed to be from 6-9:30--only, when we were there, they were late getting started (around 6:21) and they closed early at 9:10. All in all, I think they are still recovering from COVID killing their workforce.

Reviewed By tiffanywU4670CCIt's not fancy, but the AC didn't work. At 2am we couldn't stand the heat any more. Receptionist was rude and non apologetic. Terrible service. Had to go retrieve a box fan even tho two staffed the front desk. Asked for her name to report the nastiness "do I look like roomservice?" To management. She refused. She said she was training this other person. So beware. Looks like night staff isn't trained in how to deal politely w customers.

OVERCHARGED IMPROPERLY NUMEROUS TIMES
Reviewed By mdreyna1We requested to be billed on a different card that we held the room with. They charged both cards for the first 3 nights and added $100 deposit to one of the charges. Then we stayed one more night and got charged on both cards AGAIN with several other unknown charges totaling over $500! All in all we should have paid about $625 for 4 nights, but they screwed up so bad that we ended up having about $1600 worth of charges that tied up our money and made it impossible to return home when planned. The actual hotel was nice and clean, but they are still “trying” to correct the issue with our money and it’s June already. Would not recommend!

Will surely be back at this Hotel next time in SLC. Complimentary Airport Shuttle and Breakfast was very nice Dawn was exceptionally helpful & Personified highest levels of Customer Service. This is to minimize the hotel's effect on the climate. You can request fresh towels, bedding at any time. The car park is free & large, with several chain restaurants in walking distance.

Called front desk for more towels. Nobody ever came. Pool was a complete mess. Slide wasn’t open. Room dirty. Holiday Inn has turned into motel 6.

Very nice, modern hotel
Reviewed By Explore43063765725Stayed for 2 nights with multiple rooms and family, including kids. We made reservations last-minute, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful in getting us checked in quickly and easily. Staff were all masked (most guests were not). Kids used the pool; it was clean and warm, if a bit small, so can get pretty crowded. The breakfast has cold and hot options, waffles and fresh fruit and good coffee. Our room was large and very clean. Two queen beds, a large sofa in a separate sitting area, lots of little storage nooks, and lots of area for unpacking and spreading out. Bathroom is REALLY big and clean. Has a sliding frosted glass door, so lets a little light bleed through at night. Lots of regular and USB outlets. Reading lights on the beds. One small complaint is that our TV was in the sitting area, so difficult to see from the farther bed. Not sure if all rooms are set up like that. Comfortable temperature, good water pressure. Beds are super comfy. Sofa easily big enough to sleep a teenager. Not much noise from other guests even though we were across from the elevator. Our 2nd floor room overlooked the shopping center (it was either that or the freeway), but the windows and blinds blocked most light and noise. Lots of free parking. If it wasn’t a pandemic we’d have enjoyed having a movie theater and bowling alley just steps away. Easy access from the freeway. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Nice to have everything new and clean and modern. Highly recommend.
