Reviewed By IanGHEffeld is a Village to the Morth-West of Wassenberg, right on the border with the Netherlands. The Hotel is located in the middle of the Suburban Mückenstraße, on the West side about 300m North of the junction with Dorfstraße. There is parking for a few cars outside. The Main Entrance is to the Bar and Breakfast Room. Entrance to the Rooms is by a separate Door to the left side. The Hotel will leave Keys in a SafeBox and provide the KeyCode on request, for arrivals after normal Trading Hours. The Rooms are large and clean. A nice touch are the choice of shampoos for the Shower. Free WiFi is provided. The breakfast is very generous with much choice, including delicious home-made Jams. The Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Reviewed By DanSSwingWaldschanke is a nice, reasonably priced bed & breakfast with excellent service. The location is quiet, near a grocery store and offers parking on-site and fast wi-fi. They specially prepare breakfast for you at the time of your choosing. The restaurant is also good and offers Croatian as well as German cuisine.

Reviewed By Sarah GThis isn't a 'normal' hotel. It's an apartment! You'll get a beautiful and very new apartment with two bedrooms, a very large bathroom and an awesome kitchen and living room! They even filled your fridge with some drinks so you don't have to go to the store the minute you arrive. Loved it! Everything is very clean and the people are so friendly! If there would be something, you can always call them for help at your apartment. The apartments on the highest floor don't have a terrace but the other 5 do! They provide you with more than enough towels, kitchen gear, bath stuff, ... It couldn't be any better!

Reviewed By Go2pub2We stayed a few nights while in Wassenberg for a friend's wedding. The hotel's small and we stayed in a room at the side of the main building across the road from the buccaneer pub. The room was a bit dated but clean and functional. Breakfast was pretty typical for continental hotel's and was served in the main building beside the bar/lounge area. The area around the hotel is very pretty and quiet, there's not much about really but on the Sunday we were there a street market set up and we had a walk around. The pub beside the hotel was great for a few beers and the bar man was friendly and chatty.

Reviewed By sabinaaWe stayed in Landhaus Effeld for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. This is one of those rare country hotels where you still get that personal, cozy and homey feeling. Service is excellent. Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast consists of a truly German buffet experience that will not disappoint you. Wireless internet access is included with your stay. There is also a bar downstairs that serves the best mushroom creme soup I have ever tasted and fresh German draft beer (which I miss so much). The bar is typical German style with large screen TV (you may get to watch some good soccer!) and friendly quick service. The price is right here! We felt most comfortable at this hotel and we would certainly stay there again. Great value at an affordable price.

Slechte ervaring !
Reviewed By Ruud HHotel Burg Wassenberg is een prachtig hotel op een mooie locatie. Maar het management neemt het niet zo nauw met de service en beschrijving van de kamers. Wij hadden een Junior Suite, zoals afgebeeld op de site, geboekt maar kwamen terecht in een vrij kleine zolderkamer waar de constructie balken op ooghoogte door de kamer liepen en één zelfs op 60 centimeter boven het bed begon en waar geen douche was, alleen een gevaarlijk glad bad met losse handdouche . Deze kamer is begrijpelijk niet op de website afgebeeld ! Omdat de temperatuur bovendien ver in de 30 graden was vroegen we om een andere kamer. Dat was niet mogelijk omdat alles bezet was. Hoewel ik ‘s middag telefonisch had doorgegeven dat we pas na 21.00 konden inchecken had men vermoedelijk onze kamer, die met € 144 was betaald, voor een hogere prijs kunnen doorverkopen.

Sauberkeit wusste ich nun auch nicht wo man das lernt.an meiner Heizung is mehr dicke Fette schwarze spinnenwebe ( die hängt wohl länger) Balkon werden Blätter ins Eck gekehrt. Tote Fliegen kriegt man hier als Besucher. Ventilator,TV, wasserkocher und WLAN ist hier zu haben. Sonst gibt es nur 2 kleine Läden die beide erst gegen 15 Uhr auf machen.. Lg

Versuch - bei Anrruf Anrufbeantworter, kein Rückruf - keine Wassergläser im Zimmer - 2 Personen/2 Nächte = 2 Nespresso-Kapseln insgesamt = 1/2 für jeden - Haare auf Bettlaken - keine Ablage neben dem Bett (z.B. für Brille oder Wecker) - kein Fön - kein Tisch vor der Couch im Wohnbereich - gebuchtes Frühstück muss separat im Restaurant bezahlt werden, führt zu Missverständnissen, kein Kaffee im genannten Preis enthalten - schlechte/keine Beschilderung von der Straße vom Restaurant zu den Zimmern + deutsche TV Programme (aber kein Radio), Youtube + Lage ist sehr ruhig + komfortables Bett, großes Badezimmer mit Fenster
