Well spent vacation in this beautiful small town Võru. We chose this hotel because of its location. Several grocery stores are nearby, central square and beach promenade. The hotel building - beautiful and well maintained. Check-in was really quick and staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. There was also a kitchenette in the room, which was a surprise to us. We had a three course dinner at the restaurant Postmark, the food was very tasty. The breakfast selection was really good, super delicious. The receptionist showed us the sauna center, but unfortunately we did not have time to use it, but next time we will definitely do it. We will come back for sure!

Location and area is really lovely, many walking paths. Spa and saunas tiny and cozy, with great view. Room (savi suite) is spacious, you have all necessary things (jacuzzi, dishes, freezer etc). Breakfast was simple but OK. Only the coffee was quite poor.

I really love this place, food is good, the owner is very kind person and they offer best coffee in town - with right temperature, taste and milk foam. Hard to find better than what they offer. And... with nice decoration!

We were on a road trip with a family and ended up in Võru by the evening. We decided to choose hotel Tamula because of the location - right next to Lake Tamula. Well, we kind of regretted it when we saw the room. Despite the fact we were just staying one night, it was not a good experience. The tired look of the room and the furniture we could have forgiven but there was also a weird smell and the cleaning staff could have done a bit better job. Yes, the room was quite large and the view towards the lake was great but it seemed like the management has already given up. Something that the hotel cannot influence was the noise (as it's right beside a public beach) but it was surprising that it was that noisy on a cold evening after the beach season has ended. The party noise was on until well after midnight. So you have to consider it, especially during the summer. Breakfast was matching the whole experience - lame and very limited - and this was served in a very cramped area. I cannot imagine how the quests are served if the hotel is full because people were waiting for a seating even during our visit (which was off-season). So all in all nothing good to say besides a nice location. Hopefully the place will soon be renovated and managed better because it is an excellent property in a prime location but until then you should find some other place to stay in Võru.

Welcome to Ööbikuoru Villa (Villa Nightingale)– located in South Estonia, embraced by tree lakes, and nestled in the heart of Rõuge primeval valley. Far enough from the city noise to truly hear yourself and your companion. Here await you ancient beauty of Estonia’s nature, romantic ambience, and innovative solutions. Perfect place to relax. Café Andreas in Villa Nightingale offers a menu inspired by local cuisine, modern trends, and changes in seasons.
We stayed for two nights with our whole family. The rooms were nice and big but he whole house needs renovating, there was a big whole in the wall from the door handle, the sink in the bathroom had cracks in it, the wallpaper was loose, the whole room smelled like dust and so on. The worst part of the rooms were the beds, the mattresses were too soft and sunken. My back hurt so badly after two nights I had to go to the pharmacy for painkillers. The pillows were very loopy and uncomfortable. We also bought the use of the sauna but it was so badly heated that only a few people got to go there and when it was our turn the sauna was cold and they asked for 100€ for it and that was a discount!! That’s way too much for an hour in the sauna. You also need to pay extra for the grill and even for the firewood. Even the water in the room wasn’t for free. Also, they lost one of our relatives’ booking. They had to go to another housing with their two little children. But the food in the restaurant was good, breakfast and the coffee was very good and the waitresses were very helpful. So in conclusion they charge way way too much for everything considering what they’re offering but it is still a beautiful place with great views.

Kagu Hostel offers affordable accommodations and suits an economical traveller. The hostel is a few kilometres from the centre of Võru in the suburb, near the town stadium and sports centre.

The room was quiet although I first suspected the location above a restaurant. The room was clean with all necessary services. However, the room was quite small and I would allocate the space differently: instead of the jacuzzi, I would place only a shower in the bathroom and allocate the saved space for the room itself. The food in the restaurant is excellent - I have eaten there also before this trip. The music volume in the restaurant was too high.

Rogosi Manor Training and Recreational Centre LEARN TO REST! will help you organize trainings, seminars; summer, autumn, winter and spring retreats, and other recreational activities.
Simple and basic, but nice and clean. Nice manor and friendly service, just don't expect too much more than a bed, a shower and a basic breakfast. This village's life is nowadays completely centred around this manor, which gives it a special feel. All the best hiking places of Haanja are within 15-30 minutes by car. Must be a perfect spot for staying on a bicycle trip. Rooms are not very sound-proof, but clean. Will gladly return!

The kind and good-hearted host family of Vaskna Tourist Farm makes your and your family’s holiday memorable. The Farm is located on the shore of the picturesque Lake Vaskna. From the Farm you can go hiking to farms, Munamägi Hill and Vällamägi Hill, take a ride by boat on the lake and in winter go to Haanja cross-country ski track. The hostess makes beautiful handicraft dolls that you can buy. It is possible to hold company events, weddings and other great celebrations both for adults as well as for children in the Farm.
As part of my Baltic Tour I visited Suur Munamägi (highest point of the Baltics) and stayed here. I cannot find anything what was not to my complete satisfaction (room, food, view etc) - and the owners were also very nice, helpful and flexible. I definitely plan to return for a longer stay, probably with family.

In Veski Guesthouse in the small Southern Estonian town of Antsla you will feel cosy and comfortable. Your family members can spend their time safe in the yard of the Guesthouse enclosed by fence: there is a playground for children, a place for grilling in inner court and enough space for playing different games. It is also possible to try tandem cycling there.
After the booking. com made again mistake with our reservation, and sold us a guesthouse which in a fact was closed we went to Antsla. We found a small guesthouse, and that was really really good. Room was clean and big enough. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. Really nice place. We ally enjoyed our stay. Very quiet city. So I want to say thank you. And really recommend that place.
