This is such a lovely, friendly hotel. The views over the forested city are just the best view perhaps of any hotel we've ever been in. The staff throughout are amazing - so helpful and friendly. Big shout out especially to Allende in the restaurant who is an absolute credit to the hotel - made us feel so welcome and special. Overall, we can't wait to be back - great hotel and more importantly, great staff! Congratulations to the management on having such a special place.

Stopped off completely random as was travelling for 5-6 hours from Portugal and long drive ahead back to England. Family run place , beautiful and very friendly especially Portuguese lady who spoke very good english and was extremely helpful. Bar area was fantastic and food ( which we had steak and potatoes)was also a very high standard. Lucky to have found such a beautiful hotel and enjoyed our stay :)

The hotel is in a very quiet area where you can safely park your car in the street or if you prefer, in the parking underneath the hotel. It is very easy to get there from the freeways. The reception is very friendly even as they are servicing the packed restaurant. When you open the door of you room you realize how excellent the amenities are. Everything is high quality, a bottle of water, a pen and a few candies are waiting for you. The room is very nicely decorated (con mucho gusto !) and the bedding is exceptional. The bathroom is beautifully set up in high quality materials, and refined equipments. You are in a five star environment, for sure ! One detail, the air contitioning, once you have understood the remote basic functions, is out of this world : NO NOISE AT ALL !!!... you cannot hear the fan, but it works very well. This is the first time in my long life that I meet such a silent aircon. And all this pleasure is at a very reasonable price;;;; Enjoy !

The hotel is fine, but definitely not up to five star standards. Nowhere close. Except on price, they are still charging 5* room rates. Pros: the room is an ok size, the reception is nice, good parking, quiet location, pleasant staff. Cons: decor is old and tired, room wasn’t perfectly clean, old electronics such as hairdryer, poor facilities and amnesties in the room, no international tv or radio, no tea or coffee in the room, a horrible cheap cafe, extra charge for the spa, very far from the city centre. Given three stars because that is what the hotel should be advertising and charging.

The property was pleasant. The desk manager ….. I am sorry I cant remember his name but he as absolutely amazing. Accommodating, helpful and polite. Most of the staff was also very kind folks who spoke English very very well. The gym could use more options and free weights. The menu in the restaurant was a bit too limited and the food was not really that good for dinner services. But the breakfast was outstanding. The lounge bar was cute place to have a drink. The balcony rooms were also quite pleasant. Nice view not too noisy. So over all for a small city hotel it a good affordable option.

Economic, comfortable and practic hotel at the very city center.
To be honest this place wasn't even that bad if you don't care about getting a decent hello in the morning from any member of staff. They change your towels, make your bed etc. The noise is abit much the walls are quite thin but wasn't that bad, I wouldn't even be writing this review if some robocop on a power trip on the last night (as we returned back with bottled water on a Saturday night) told us we couldn't speak to each other in the rooms or have the telly on at all because the hotel walls where thin and if we did he would be knocking on our door....literally felt like he was going to come threw the door like a bat out of hell if we spoke.... Spooked Serious staff customer service needed Maybe a wash outside for the piss smell wouldn't hurt too...

The staff were shocking. They made us feel unwelcome. They clearly had no training in customer services. One blonde receptionist actually shouted as because we took our bicycle inside the hotel. We did not realise that this was against the rules but instead of politely asking us to take the bike outside she was most aggressive. She even shouted at someone in a different room because he didn’t tell us not to bring our bike in!! The breakfast was appalling and indeed the food generally was of a very low standard. Nothing is nearby so you need a car, which the hotel charge you to park. The rooms are large and were clean but other than that I cannot think of anything positive. Stay in the Marriott instead where you will be treated as if you are welcome at the hotel!

Just stayed for one night between cities in a lengthy business trip. Room was clean, comfortable and functional, though small and the choice of colours a bit drab. Good wifi, friendly and helpful staff. The location was a bit iffy - Vitoria has areas with more charm, and at night I discovered this is very close to the street where everyone goes to stand outside and drink - not so close that I could hear it, but I went out in the evening for supper and the atmosphere outside was a bit off-putting.

The place is in a quiet area of town where one can walk for sport or to a few restaurants (one really bad). Since we arrived at night, we used the automated machine to check in. Not too difficult . These are nice apartments with kitchens and balconies. The heating and AC worked, but it was cool outside and we just opened the windows (with a sturdy rollover screen for protection). Overall, a great place. Ah! Parking is outside in a round about part of the facility. If you come late, you park far.

Initially thought "What have I let myself in for?" when I got to the room, an old style traditional Spanish style as opposed to a modern room and to make things worse it was only a single bed. I knew it was a single room when I booked it but still it very often happens there it's a double bed in a room, anyway who sleeps in a single bed nowdays? So anyway in the end the room was totally fine, I moved the bed away from the wall and it made the room more cosy. And actually the bed was very comfortable, so there you go. There's a restaurant in the hotel which is separate from the cafe/bar although what I chose was very small. The service was great, as was the price and the food was lovely, so all good. In the morning if you've paid for included breakfast then you can choose what you want in the cafe/bar. This was one of the best meals in my time in Spain! I had proper tortilla, bread, cake, fresh OJ I was totally stuffed by the end of it. Great
