We had a great time at Monte Barranco. We loved every second we were there. Victor, one of the house managers, is easily one of the coolest men I have ever met. Great service, great views and great times. Thank you to the owners and managers of this house!

The Ensenada -mountain inn- is nature tourism in the middle of Mountain range from the Calamuchita valley. From your room - and throughout the complex of 3 hectares - you will be able to appreciate the best landscape of the whole of Cordoba with views of the large mountains and the Champaquí mountain. We strive for personalized attention so that each guest feels at home. We guarantee a complete rest and renewal of energy. The Inn is established in a private 7ha field with Jesuit rocks and poplar forest. It is the closest tourist complex to the center of Villa Yacanto de Calamuchita, a small town of 1,500 habitants at 1,112 meters above sea level, with a special microclimate. In the area you can go hiking, mountain trekking, mountain-biking, horseback riding, quads, fly fishing, climbing to Cerro Los Linderos and Champaquí. We are 7km from Durazno, 5km from San Miguel de los Rios and 9km from Puente Blanco. In all these locations you can fully enjoy the rivers.
This was quite a find, we drove to the tourist office as we decided we liked Yacanto and wouldn't mind staying the night. They called La Ensenada and we got a double room for $ 450 including continental breakfast. About US$50. You get free wifi, satellite TV and most importantly the views of the Sierras Grandes. The inn is built in a combination of wood and stone and has large gardens with a wonderful pool. Wish we could have stayed longer. The place is extremely quiet and the verandah wonderful at night.

La Estancia San Miguel, located at the foot of Cerro Champaqui, in the heart of the Calamuchita Valley, surrounded by mountains and in the middle of an old grove of forests of different species (American, European, Swamp, Liquidambar, Araucaria , Nogales among other specimens), offers an exclusive refuge for rest, disconnection and enjoyment of nature. At the edge of the park, along 600 meters, runs the Tabaquillos river, with crystal clear waters with private access to a sandy beach. Its remarkable location, the charm and diversity of nature that surrounds it, make it a unique place that allows our guests to perform different activities: trekking, horseback riding and excursions. The mountain style rooms offer a warm atmosphere and modern functionality using clean energy, thus contributing to the care of nature. Restaurant offers excellent cuisine, from breakfast served with homemade breads and sweets, followed by lunch, and dinner in which you can enjoy homemade and healthy dishes.
