Rooms are very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful restaurant catering to all tastes. The restaurant staff are efficient and genuinely go the extra mile. Alessandro and Barbara in particular were very attentive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

This hotel in Viareggio was great. First of al the housekeeping department is outstanding and the room was immaculate every day Second, the free breakfast was fantastic and was served very quickly. Bring new to Italy and Viareggio, I had a ton of questions and Abele was so incredibly helpful and patient with me. He helped me with directions, renting a bike, and calling a cab to make sure I made my train on time. He was polite and gracious

This hotel was a disappointment from the start. Unable to get through on the phone for days when trying to book. Booked through the website with a comment that we were travelling with two small dogs. We have stayed in many Mercure hotels and this one does not compare. The beds like concrete! Mentioned in many reviews the light switches in the rooms sticky and dirty. The beds in an Ibis budget are far better than these. There are no facilities during the day after breakfast. The bar only opens at night. The furniture on the balcony is old with paint falling off. The towel radiator was old and rusty and no drink making facilities in the room. No kettle etc. This was not a cheap hotel with the booking costing 380€ for 4 nights. You expect better for this money and from this brand. There are many things I could continue about the place. The staff work hard but only look after certain guests. There was three tables sat outside drinking from the bar. Two with Italians one was my wife and I. The two tables were given nibbles to eat at the tables while we watched but nothing was brought to us. I normally leave a tip to the room cleaners but the cost for the dogs per night meant that I could not allow myself to. The dogs cost an extra 50€ PER NIGHT!!! For what. L?? There was no extra mess or cleaning. They say pet friendly but with this price they try to remove people to take pets. We are responsible dog owners and ALWAYS clean up after our dogs but again no trash bins for the waste anywhere. So other owners don’t even try to clean up!! The grass around the hotel is used for a a dog toilet by any other owners crazy enough to pay the cost for them in the hotel!! 200€ for two small dogs for 4 nights. Is a crime. The hotel does not want dog owners obviously The only positive is the location

We stayed for 5 nights in an apartment with our family of 4. Two connecting rooms, a small kitchen and patio terrace overlooking the courtyard. Very close to the beach and with our direct booking the beachclub Corallo was included with sunbeds and umbrella. Just a minute away from the Boulevard with a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. My husband had to see a doctor and the staff were more than helpful arranging this for us. The doctor came into the hotel and the staff did all the translations since the doctor only spoke Italian. The rooms were clean and classy with great beds.

Located on one of the Viareggio coastline's most attractive stretches, a short walk from the seashore, at the heart of the Passeggiata and near the pine grove, it is an ideal area for a nice walk, to relax and have fun too. Tennis courts are nearby, bikes are available, there is a fun fair, playground, pizzerias and gelaterias to enjoy in the cool and peaceful green area. The Palace Hotel stands out for its lovely Liberty style facade. Some of the rooms look out over the sea and from the spacious terrace with American-style bar there is a gorgeous panorama of the entire coastline. Style, beauty and history give the Palace Hotel that special atmosphere which has made it, over the years, a point of reference for its international clientele. The Palace Hotel offers its guests free Wi-Fi in every part of the hotel and an internet point. The TVs in the guest rooms have Sky cable service and multilingual satellite programmes.
Excellent location in the main promenade and shopping street. An older but well maintained hotel with gracious lounges and a lovely breakfast area. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Modern bathrooms equipped with all facilities. Good breakfast with plenty of choices, but quite slow service. Reception staff quite rude.

We had some teething issues with the room but that was finally resolved. The hotel is nice, renovated it seels in a way where the old rooms have been panelled to allow a full but reasonably-priced way to bring new features to them. Very nice :) The highlight is the lady at breakfast who barked in a friendly way at our dog every morning. Funny indeed :)

Small and friendly family run hotel, recently renovated, located 5 min from the sea and near to the train station and the city centre. Air conditioning, private bathroom, color TV, heating, wifi.
No elevator. missing towels, safe and airco not properly working, horrible breakfast (warm yogurt), noisy room and surroundings. Hotel maid not wearing mask. Area is NOT a safe place on night. it is at walking distance from beach area, but I'm definitively NOT recommending it.
