The highest resort in Europe. Residence at the foot of the slopes and at the heart of the resort. Residence with cosy and comfortable apartments
I stayed her mid March for one week to go skiing. The apartment was clean and mostly very quiet. There was some noise in the evening from the street, but that would apply to any apartment facing the street. There was also a little noise when it was windy, as the wind comes through the central atrium, front door and out the livingroom window.. That said, the apartment was warm, comfortable and offered a decent standard of kitchen equipment. It's conveniently located to get on the piste (once you realise you go up to the 6th floor to get there) and there is a supermarket handily across the road too. The ski/boot room also had boot heaters to dry them out overnight. It's a very walkable place with easy access to restaurants, bars and shops everywhere. I'd definitely stay here again.

The end of the earth…right next door to home. Hotel Pashmina wises for one thing only : to create a peaceful haven for its guests, a break from daily life and for them to be transported into a new world. For each of the hotel’s five stars we will make five promises to all of our guests : relaxation, excellent family atmosphere, unbeatable luxury, escape and an exceptionally memorable holiday. A luxury refuge This expression may seem contradictory in essence. When we speak of a « refuge », we generally invoke ideas of danger, outdoor mountain living and makeshift accommodation. However, a « refuge » can also be an area where we feel safe, at ease, far from daily troubles…a refuge is a shelter, a cocoon, an oasis in the centre of the desert, or why not a temple on the very top of the mountain, a room with a view out over the horizon ? The experience offered by hotel Pashmina is a simple one : exclusive luxury in a mountain resort.
Hotel Pashmina is a fantastic hotel. We enjoyed every minute of it. There was only one thing what spoiled everything. The service level of the staff. Especially in the restaurant and Spa. Breakfast; They almost asked us to leave the breakfast room. So they could eat from the buffet. A very bad rule. It happened that we felt guilty to pick something because we saw in there eyes that they wanted it! SPA; The SPA area was very good. But also here the service of the staff was very bad. The sauna was open until 20.30. Every day they shut it down at 20.00 to win time leaving early There was also no at the pool while children were swimming. A very serious mistake! For us the sauna was one of the reasons to book this hotel. So we were very disappointed. We decided to book another hotel next year!!

Simply perfect for holidays with friends or family.
This is a great hotel in a great location, the ski in ski out is perfect and the general decor of the hotel was really modern and had cute little features like a Bluetooth radio in the rooms and rituals shampoo and shower gel. Our room was cleaned everyday and the general cleanliness of the hotel was great, couldn’t fault it. They have a DJ outside on the terrace most days which was lovely to have a drink and look at the views with good music in the background. The staff were really lovely and friendly, my only fault would be that they seemed slightly understaffed but this could be because of covid and the staff that were working seemed run off their feet trying to accommodate everyone. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, something for everyone. The dinner menu was also good, it had a big selection, a whole page of pizzas, some pasta dishes, some meat dishes and other stuff, I thought the food was really good and for a half board option I was pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely come back to this hotel I think it was worth the money and you couldn’t get a better location. It was just a shame they were slightly understaffed but could be covid related so you can’t blame anyone.

Beware families travelling with children or vegetarians - this is NOT for you. We were a family group of 6 - 4 adults (one of whom is a vegetarian) and 2 children ages 10 and 16. The breakfast was chaos. It is set up so you fry or boil your own eggs causing dreadful congestion. There was scrambled eggs if you got in before 08:30 otherwise they ran out and were not replenished. The continental offering was OK. The main problem was at night when there was no choice whatsoever. The children were not offered Childrens' meals until about 3rd or 4th day. Our vegetarian daughter in law was served an appalling offering of vegetables and a few potatoes - nothing suitable. After a local complaint and a complaint to Crystal in the UK it improved a little. However, the next day was a dreadful (and I eat most things!) meal of pork. The lamb the previous day was just fat. Then came the fondue night! Initially just pieces of bread and a cheese fondue then, reluctantly, oil with some meat. Our vegetarian therefore had just bread and cheese dip!! Enough was enough and we thankfully went out on the last night and had the first decent meal of the week. It was just a good job the weather and skiing were great!

Val Thorens offers its guests the widest and most majestic panoramic view of the Alps. At the foot of the slopes, the Village is the perfect starting point for leisurely, unrestricted snow sports and tempts you to explore the 3 Vallées. This adults-only Village creates an original combination of sport-filled days and a festive atmosphere when you return from skiing. Between fitness, stopping off for a crêpe and dance classes, hedonists can top up their energy levels to enjoy cocktail evenings.
Having read some poor reviews I was concerned, but I had absolutely no reason to be. The hotel delivered much more than expected. The staff we encountered were all helpful, the bar staff are brilliant. Top tip - upgrade to the all inclusive drinks package when you arrive. €109 per person for the week for a large range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks all inclusive. The food was as to be expected, I’m fussy but managed to find something tasty every day. The selection at the salad bar & the meats and cheeses included were a nice surprise. The evening entertainment was exactly that - entertaining. We enjoyed the shows and the atmosphere around the hotel. The rooms were bigger than others I’ve stayed in in Val Thorens and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better. Ski out, with 2 choices of runs down and the lift drops you off about 10steps from the entrance to the ski locker room. Wouldn’t hesitate to book Club Mmv les arolles for our next trip to Val Thorens. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

A good sized suite (45 to 80m2) provides plenty of space for families and include two independent bedrooms and a living area.
Everything was excellent, location, accommodation, service, except: - Breakfast should be different sometimes. You can not eat the same thing for several days in a row. - At this level of hotel you must put tea and/or cold drinks in the spa near the sauna. - At the time of booking the hotel must specify all expected expenses. We were not told there is a city tax. Not a large amount, but definitely have to be announced in advance.

Situated at the entrance to the Val Thorens ski resort, next to ski slopes, in a quiet, sunny area, Oxalys residence welcomes you into a bright, elegant décor and offers two relaxation areas with swimming pools, spas (jacuzzis), sauna, hammam and massage rooms, a lounge bar with fireplace and the restaurant. Chef Kaoru Kuroki's restaurant awaits for you with its french & japanese fusion cuisine.
We booked this residence based on a previous wonderful experience with Le Taos in Tignes (within the same group) and the great pictures on the Oxalys website. We paid €7,500 (!) for one week and expected a luxury/premium appartement for 8 persons. The appt itself was big but really outdated, dirty and very noisy (we knew exactly when all the neighbours were awake ...). On top of that - and as already a lot of reviews mentioned - the wifi was terrible making it impossible to use internet in an acceptable way. The staff was helpful but could not solve this issue. The sink was leaking, the windows were extremely dirty, when taking a shower your feet would be in a lot of water, the bathrooms were very small and in our bathroom you would have to be really prudent not to burn yourself coming close to the extremely hot wall radiator located at 30cm from the toilet and the shower, ... Also make sure to check the height of the garage as our SUV with ski case did not fit (no bar warning you when you drive in). Paying this much of money we simply expected (much) more ...
