Stay was what you'd expect from a Fairfield. EXCEPT for the $10/night parking fee. There is plenty of empty space in the area that parking is not constrained (e.g., like in a city) so charging for parking is quite absurd. In fact, no other hotel in the area charges for parking so it isn't a town thing. I recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express down the street, comparable value but no parking fee. It is prominently posed in the lobby, and it is on your booking as it would be at a "city" property. But it feels a absolutely absurd in my mind because no one would expect that you'd pay for parking in the middle of wide open area. It feels like you're being fee'd to death. If they want $10/night more, just build it into the price like everyone else!

Guests may also access this area to prepare your own light meals as utensils and appliances are provided for your use.
Stayed at the Harmony for 4 nights. Opted for the adjacent building called Chuck's Cabin for our visit. While a splurge for us and much more costly than a standard hotel room, we loved the experience. A very private , quiet place to stay, we loved the unbelievable desert views every morning from our south facing patio. We spent mornings with coffee or evenings with a glass of wine enjoying the desert views, watching coyotes playing and chasing each other , roadrunners dashing about, and birdlife everywhere. A very special stay. Ash the manager / owner was excellent, and very attentive.

Reasonable size room with good location close to Joshua Tree. However, the room’s floor was dirty and sticky and left black marks on feet. Breakfast was free but fairly basic with limited choices. Would not stay here again.

We had a very nice stay. The location was great for our purpose of seeing Joshua Tree National Park. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. We received great service from Kelly at the front desk at check in. He answered a couple questions about the area and gave a couple suggestions for places to eat. We were really happy with the rib restaurant we chose.

Located in TwentyNine Palms, CA, just minutes outside the main entrance to the world's largest military base, Twentynine Palms U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC). The MCAGCC marine base is only 4 ½ miles to the north. This makes it perfect for 29 Palms military lodging. The 29 Palms entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, one million acres of unspoiled Mojave Desert wilderness is located about three miles to the south. Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel is conveniently situated central to the 29 Palms shopping and dining. Our junior, one and two bedroom suites are over-sized and roomy. They are beautifully decorated with an eclectic style of new and early 20th-century furnishings. Every spacious executive suite is fully equipped from A to Z: kitchens, high speed internet (wired and wireless), 24” or 27” TV and DVD players. Sunnyvale Garden Suites Hotel is the only “extended stay hotel” lodging in 29 Palms, however we welcome many overnight guests as well. Our large one and two bedroom suites are excellent for group meeting and gatherings. The extra comfort we offer will be very much appreciated after a long day of work, or a full day of hiking, rock climbing or just plain adventure in the Joshua Tree National Park!
Great place to stay for a few nights! Wish we had longer than our one night. We stayed here before our trip to Joshua Tree National Park. The room was clean and as expected. The Inn itself is completely charming with pathways which meander through each little suite. There were some longer term guests which I totally understood as this was the kind of place you could take up residence for a little while.

Motel 6 Twentynine Palms is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the main entrance to California's Joshua Tree National Park and Twentynine Palms Marine Base. Free Wi-Fi is available in all of our modern rooms
Ive not been in a motel 6 for a few years, dont get me wrong, they're a basic chain, but this one seems even more basic than they used to be. And now they don't seem to be a budget price, in retrospect I would rather of paid a little more and gone to the Holiday Inn over the road. Free internet - but only if you're at the right end of the motel, when I advised that it didn't work on any of my devices but when I left my room and walked towards reception, they worked. I was told that it must be the connection. Obviously. As thats what I told the lady the error message said.... "no connection", I can live without the internet, but when free wifi is listed as a feature then I do expect to get it. Unhelpful room layout, you cant reach the lights from the bed. The bathroom fan is deafening even with the door shut. Oh and this was probably the first of hundred of places I've stayed in the states to give you no way of making a hot drink. For a couple of hours in the morning a limited supply of coffee flavoured warm water is available if you can fight your way to the front of the queue. Its obviously in an ideal location for the Joshua Tree NP hence the relatively high rates for low quality.

Old worn out hotel near the Joshua NP, clean-ish but the a/c was making a lot of noise. The check in was easy and fast, the room was medium and was kind of old, there really needed to do some makeover or lower the prices. It's a good place to stay one night if you are planning on visiting the park.

Welcome to the Nine Palms Inn (formerly the Lincoln Manor)! In the 1940’s, the Lincoln Manor was a landmark destination in the Twenty Nine Palms areas. This is one of the few motels that can be considered a historic pioneer in hospitality service in Twenty Nine Palms. Today, it still maintains the same structure and floor plan that it used in the 1940’s. As of November 2012, a new management team
Clean room, air conditioning worked very well. Having a little kitchen with a full size refrigerator and freezer was a huge plus. Comfortable bed- great location in 29 Palms. Enjoyed sitting outside our room and overlooking the town. Great for a little get away stay.

I was in a rush to book somewhere and didn't read what other reviewers had said about this place and I paid the price as a consequence. We arrived at the hotel and a notice said that due to staff shortages we should check in at the hotel next door. When we went there, there was a notice saying that they were out to lunch (at 7.15pm!). We went and had dinner and came back an hour later and got our room key. We then had the worst night's sleep ever at a hotel. The air conditioner sounded like a turbo prop plane so we turned it off. There was then a constant high pitched drone from the extractor fan in the bathroom even though the fan was turned off! As a result we hardly got any sleep and were exhausted when we woke up. On the positive side, the bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom adequate for a budget hotel. They have a bar which I think served food in the evening but it was pretty basic to say the least and not somewhere you'd want to spend much time. I'm sure that our booking included breakfast but needless to say there was nothing so we went to the hotel next door and it was pretty poor and very limited. So my advice is to give this a wide birth and pay a few dollars more to stay at one of the more recognised chains which are well represented in the area.
